sub4life2009 -> Hugging Session? (2/4/2009 7:03:15 AM)

Has anyone here ever experienced a 3 hour hug?

My dom came over for three hours and we hugged, ...and that was it!
For three hours straight! Him on the chair, and me on his lap.

Later on, we discussed the visit over the phone, and we were both kinda shocked... that nothing else happened.
Has this ever happened to anyone?

Cuddling not followed by or following sex?  Sure.  Love hugging.  :>

Sure, why not.  The Master and submissive provide for an emotional need the other has, and sometimes that is better expressed in hugging and kissing than in typical scene type play.  If it were just hugging and kissing all the time, that would be the defintion of vanilla, but a mixture of activities is: A) Perfectly fine, and B) Highly desirable.

just hugging??? Not even talking while hugging? Sure hugging is great but for 3 hours straight and not doing ANYTHING else?
That's definitely not for me [:-]

Yes, of course.

But then I snapped out of it and began CPR on my Dominant.

She's a little slow, but progressing nicely.

Not three hours. If this was us, we would have fallen asleep together like that.

That's what I was thinking.  You probably would see the strands of drool intertwined also.

I love hugging, my skin gets very hungry and a  hug just encompasses me and feels so good, of course it can also lead to sex but hugging just on its own is yummmmy. I give great hug, so Im told.
All those soft squishy bits really help

I am not affectionate--a three-hour hug would be more than a struggle.

It turns out, this non-affectionate, not toucy-feely, need-my-personal-space attitude is not always appreciated from D-types. Are any other s-types not affectionate?

CalifChick -> RE: Hugging Session? (2/4/2009 10:58:35 AM)

I am very affectionate (sorry, Tee), which is why a 3-hour hug wouldn't work for me.  It would be ramped up, or ramped down (in which case I'd be taking a nap).

I love giving and getting, hugs. But only from a few special people. I don't care for too many people invading my space. (draws 12ish foot circle around self) In space.........out of space. Difference.

There's nothing more fun than invading a persons private space (I have a pretty big private space myself :P) like walking up stairs almost glued to da other person or just walkin way too close to somebody in general[8D]
but gosh it takes its toll on me too even though it's fun [8D]

My personal space generally likes to include cute sassy, women type, people.

HOWEVER........hoodie wearing, hang gliding kangaroos with long arms would probably end up on the BBQ.

CreativeDominant -> RE: Hugging Session? (2/4/2009 12:17:14 PM)

I love hugging but, as someone else noted on here, if I was to hold someone for three hours...no talking, no sex, no kissing...I would soon be asleep.  I am an affectionate person whether it be with my family or with a submissive but affection can be shown in many ways besides a 3 hour hug.  Of course, the hugging may have been coming from a "shift" within both of you that was occurring within the dynamic...perhaps a silent, unacknowledged movement towards something deeper.

i'm very affectionate....but sometimes my skin is so oversensitive i cant bear being touched.  so sometimes its lie in bed together and just touching fingertips.  or understanding that sharing space can be affectionate too, as can intense conversation.

as long as both parties' needs are being met, who cares what level of affection you give/recieve?  some people are just BORN  pissy, i think...my ex's newborn picture he looks like he wants to just punch someone.  and he's still got that sort of porcupine attitude.

a porcupine and a kitten, no wonder we didnt last... ;)

I'm the kind of person who hugs people I've just met moments ago. I have, however, learned to ASK "Do you do hugs?" first, after finding out through the grapevine that I'd made various people very, very uncomfortable with that practice.

"A polite hugger is a happy hugger" sort of thing. Sad that I had to actually learn that one!

T! <virtual hug> lol
I am not a huggy person. I hope that while at the wedding or activities people will let me know they are going to hug me before it happens, or they may find the tip side of my cane up their ass lol (Now no one will hug me! lol) Seriously though, I had an incident not to long ago, where this man, knowing I am blind, caressed my arm to get my attention. I think I may have over-reacted..But Geoff didn't hesitate to tell the man to leave our table (The guy had been sitting with us). I just don't like to be touched by strangers, much less caressed by one.
