That site is AWESOME. Seriously, under "you'll poke your eye out" there's a pattern for a "knitted condom" which you can use to cover your toys =)
And there's more complicated stuff too, for those that aren't like me and can knit a few more things. But I'm learning =) I'm working on my first winter hat. I've made a scarf of garter stitch, I made a basket weave scarf, Mary Jane baby booties (disgustingly adorable. Pattern Here, really simple. ) I made myself a tote bag (Pattern Here), I'm making my sister a tote bag with the tree frog pattern from that site, I'm making myself a winter hat with cat ears, I'm going to make a friend of mine a Dallas Cowboys scarf...I'm learning slowly but surely! =) Any tips would rock too. I'm terrified of attempting dp needle knitting in the round...I like using a circ needle...but I've noticed you can't for everything...so I guess I'll eventually have to learn that too...
