Time married will solve this problem. Depends on the individual..stay married five more years....does wonders for this kind of problem !. In the interim.put on some old RoseAnn reruns...go with the "flow"...have a glass of wine, enjoy, and go at it again...

I have the reverse issue. I find it very difficult to cum just through intercourse and hence I can typically keep going as long as my stamina holds out. Think I have what is known as inhibited ejaculation. Rather hoping I'll improve matters with a regular partner. However, it rather suits me at the mo as I quite enjoy wanking off onto a female face or into a waiting mouth. Not sure why I am saying this on a forum; just seem right. I normally don't mention it to anyone other than sex partners - something I started doing after being dumped a couple of years ago and getting told to sort my problem out. Now hands up who else thinks its a real deal breaker.

It's not as bad as the premie problem I suppose, but it's possible a girl would eventually feel annoyed that you could only come when you did it yourself.

Yes I imagined that was the issue. Plus somewhere down the line I may want to have children and its going to be difficult unless I can get off through intercourse. Sometimes taking an antidepressant will help him stay off that edge...check with his doctor. Of course, the wrong antidepressant could make it worse, as some will make him not able to ejaculate at all. ----- Brag note: I'm the Energizer bunny..I keep going and going...my wife is the same, but with the batteries in backwards...she keeps cumming and cumming.... Okay, seeing as how the advice on here is going downhill, I thought I'd add a few honest-to-god ideas that you might find useful. If the OP is just BSing us, it doesn't really matter because quite often this IS a real life problem for some couples. So, the question needs to be taken seriously. 1. Try some desensitizing cream. They are very popular, and several brands are available. be sure to allow it to absorb it's way into his skin compleately, otherwise you may end up having your pleasure numbed a bit too. 2. Try having sex multiple times each night. Basically, it could be that he's over-excited, and is having hair trigger troubles because of it. By being a bit starved, you tend to overeat... same with sex. 3. Viagra. Yes, he will still ejaculate, but he will remain hard long enough for you to get what you need out of him sexually. 4. You might still want to see a Doctor. There's a possibility that there's a physical reason why this is happening, and it might be something that can be treated. There. Now, was that so hard? (pun)

That may be the problem BigSi2009, but I have the same one... I can't get off with insertion to anyone... even receiving oral doesn't do much (though it feels reeeeeal good, it only 'did the deed' once after an extended (like, 30+ minutes) session where THAT was the focus). I do, however, get off by getting others off. I've even had that elusive 'anal orgasm' before. I'll have to look up 'inhibited ejaculation' I suppose, I didn't know they've put a name on it.

Take that man to a urologist. and if the problem isn't physical take him to a therapist that "does" sexual issues. all the other stuff is just stopgap measures.
