I agree that you aren't getting enough sleep. Why not shoot for bed at 11 and get up at 6? That would give you two more hours, and that makes a big difference. Instead of a long workout in the early a.m., have a shorter one, and another shorter one during the day. Skip the early morning news, too, read it later. Is there truly a reason you have to get up at 5, or is that just what you've programmed yourself to do? It's sounding like possibly you're a Type-A personality, trying to cram too much stuff into every day. Learn to prioritize what HAS to be done versus what you WANT to get done. Catch up on the weekends. Or, you might have a form of Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder. Or an Anxiety Disorder. If the problem is that you CAN'T sleep, then seek professional help. They can analyze your situation and condition and direct you to the right kind of help. Don't keep killing yourself, sleep is important!
