hello all iam a 45 year old tv and iam looking for a master to serve iam new at this but i really want to be a slave my question is do you think iam too old to be a slave or is there a master out there tat would have me

melinda, I'm no Master, but when I look on CM, and at the pictures of happy D/s couples/familes, I note there are a lot of people who are hardly picture perfect to look at, or young, and yet have found what they sought. I wouldn't give up hope just yet, if I were you.

Being outside the purely female, 18-24 range might appear to mean "fewer male prospects" but in reality, the people who will dismiss you readily or being 45 or a TV weren't going to be compatible. Hence, any difficulty in finding one to serve is a blessing in disguise. Instead of mining for gold (a process where minute amounts of gold is removed from, literally, tons of ore) you could be browsing jewelry stores.

It's not a perfect analogy, as it's early and I'm a big nerd, but you get the idea.

There is always somebody. Somebody who will not only accept you, but love you for your demographics, quirks, kinks, and unique soul.

Also consider your question: Are you to old to be a slave?

What does a slave do? If you want a master who will have you do intense physical labor, you should consider your health (some 45 year olds are in better shape than when they were 20). For your "average" (a silly word to use in the BDSM world) kink related activities, a 45 year old of general good shape should be in a fine ways. An understanding man is no master if he doesn't grasp that kneeling for 3 hours is a stretch. Hell, I'm 23 and kneeling for three hours would invoke a frustrated "Red. See you tomorrow." from me.

Your age and the facxt that you are a CD will limit your pool of prospectives. Tough noogies - they're things that you are not going to change, so don't fret about them.

So let's rephrase your question - how do you get interest?

I'd suggest first filling out your profile. Your likes/dislikes list is very well filled out, but nothing about you written by yourself. Add to that the fact that your post here has no punctuation, and it creates the impression of low commitment. Also a pic would both let prospectives know what you look like, and also make sure that you come up when someone chooses the "Browse Photos" option.

Finally, I would suggest not looking for a Master to serve 24/7 just yet. Try serving for weekends. Get to know yourself.

OP, take your time.. and you do need to take a few risks to get what you need... put yourself out there... but I would suggest that you don't even look for a Master.. make friends... also, do not allow CM to be your only outlet for this.. get out, go to meetings, munches and events... meeting people face to face might work out better for you...

There are several threads here on CM where actual people who identify that way explain what they mean.. and don't forget transgendered adds to that mix as well. I'll give you in my experience the differences and what I've seen. As a general rule, TVs tend to have an element of TG in them, that is to say, they wish to be the opposite sex. While they do crossdress, its often not seen as crossdressing, but rather presenting the outward appearance that they truely feel inside. That said, crossdressers tend to be heterosexual males who have no inclination toward being women, nor do they suggest that they are women inside.

Its as usual a lot more complicated than that, and likely means something different for everyone person using the terms. For me, there is a distinct difference between crossdressing and being a TV.

I suggest you check wikipedia -- they have several articles on the various subjects.

The simple difference for me is a CD tends to do that occasionally for whatever reason but continues to live as a heterosexual man. A TV would rather be female -- again, these are my generalizations and might not work for all.

You see the distinction then? And.. from my experiences.. crossdressers tend to pair with het female dominants.. TVs tend (though I've seen many that prefer females) to look for males... dominant or submissive...

To the OP you are only as old as you feel okay? I am a decade older than you but still a kid at heart and love to play and since finding my special slave I am even younger!

Trust me, you will find a Master/Mistress who will make you feel young and in turn you will make them happy as well. Good luck in your search!
