Do you talk to yourself? I do, I mean I don't carry on a two sided coversation or anything, but I do vocalize out loud the days to do lists, where I am with something, what I am going to do next--one sided conversations to people I can't have one sided conversations with--I have always done this since I was little--when I had My UM it was easier as it was a means to pass on the ability to speak--when the UM got older, I hid it a bit, now I am full out as they say, lol--now I don't do it when someone is around to talk to, but I do it when I'm alone at home or in the car and I feel quite ok about it---

am I a nutcase?? I can't be alone here...

Oh I am definitely a conversationalist with myself!!!!! At work I sit in a small section with two other people and my colleague next to me is constantly asking me to speak up as she didn't hear my question so I have to explain that I was talking to myself not to her

I do. This is not joke this is truth.

I speak to myself in Polish and answer in English. Is how I learn a new language. I did the same when I learned Russian. Sometimes I pretend I am a Polish girl, Russian girl, and American girl, all together and chatting. I argue with myself. <----truth not joke.
People in my dorm building use to think I have many multi-cultural friends in my dorm room all night. Then they discover I was only one in room. They think I am weird. Some discover my kink secret and now I am not weird, I am freak. LOL

I have different names for myself. I am Nikita, Natasha, and Natalie

I'm not alone! This is the reason why I like my blue tooth, I don't look crazy when I'm talking to myself in public. I was talking about this with my sister and she said that's why she liked when her um was small because she didn't seem crazy. I personally think we both go it from our mom.

When I talk to myself, it's in a critical mode. I mean, yelling, swearing, and calling myself an idiot. The most recent was just the other day, I couldn't find the lid to my crock pot. I spent the next 45 minutes looking for it, the whole time saying, "You idiot, where the hell else would you even THINK of putting a crock pot lid, other than on the crock pot?"

Another fave yelling match with myself is when I'm running late for work. "Why can't you just put your work items together, in the same place, every day, so they're easy to find?"

I seem to have misplacement issues with myself!!

I ask myself what I'm doing a lot. Out loud.

In the last couple of months I have yelled at my former owner a lot, in my head.

When I was young, as a means of escapism (chaotic household) I would have make believe conversations in my head with others who weren't actually there - fantasy conversations, of sorts. Sometimes I'd get really into it and not realize I was actually outwardly vocalizing. No one really noticed in my house.

Sometime I lose...

That's just the way life is..

It gets sort of scary when the discussion becomes heated to an out right shouting match....

However, I am told that if you have to ask if you are crazy, then you are probably sane..
