you are right about it being nearly impossible to fail these days. A good friend of mine has been trying to get the schools to hold jis kid back since grade 4, but they wouldn't, and now he is about to go into high school, and all he has learned is that he doesn't have to bother, to him school is just a place he goes 5 days a week while his parents work, like a day care of sorts, but with less structure.

Let's see, this one is To End Women's Sufferage, and this other one is To Ban Di-hydrogen Monoxide. Yeah! I have "made a difference". Anyone else wanna join me in making the world a better place. I am so bummed out that I missed the posts on paying for dinner. If one of you all could tell me where to find it, I would sooooooo appriciate it. To the OP. Cheer up. And now I am off to go listen to "Suicide is Painless" LaMalinche =============== i guess? it depends on how it is done? my ole man blew his head off with the shotgun...and i know the last expression he had on// what was left of his face...it was ALL pain... it is not as fast as some people would lead you to believe... and the brain does register the pain..for longer than you would expect...for what little brain was left... most of it i had to scrape off the walls and clean up...not counting the piece of his skull i found...the top piece...not counting 13 pints of blood.. and the shot gun pellets... suicide is ok to a point..IF you die immediately... and ya never know if you are going to... i know of two that tried a shotgun and didnt get the job done. enjoy your music.

I am NOT making manicotti tonight. Effectiveness is why Painless uses a "black capsule" just like Hitler and Eva Braun. It really is a touching scene. Just curious, but how did you figure out it was 13 pints? Another suicide tip - if you are going to electrocute yourself in the bathtub, be sure to use something with a heating element. According to Mythbusters it is more effective because of the amount of amps (I think it is amps and not volts). So use the toaster and not the radio. Boy this is getting morbid. I like it. Wow, did that MASH reference get misinterpreted... The theme from the MASH T.V. series was actually the theme song to the movie. It contained lyrics like "Suicide is painless It brings on many changes" That's about all I remember, but I'm sure somebody will look it up now...

I see I have touched off a flame here, luckily not a flame war. Even to say 'WTF were you thinking when you said that ?' is not the same as saying 'you are full of crap'. I have learned the difference long ago, as I have learned to try to see both (every) side(s) of an argument. Now an argument doesn't mean what you see on Jerry Springer, where all the arguers do is piss each other of. To me an argument is supposed to be you trying to convince another of your point of view and vice versa. To alienate or insult them is totally counterproductive. To actually LISTEN gives you a few things, first of all you find out what you're up against. If you haven't heard the other's reasoning yet you can't pick it apart, and that is if you still disagree. Yes, I have actually been proven wrong (believe it or not , lol), On a lesser scale you might see why they have these misconceptions on the subject. To win an argument is to educate the opponent. To lose is to learn. Sometimes there are gray areas as well. I am open to all these experiences. Now I must address this one point before going 10-7. To those who may think that my view of reality is not right, please state your case, don't simply make that foolish allegation. My mind works as a lattice, like gears, you feed it input it must mesh. It must fit with at least some etablixhed facts. Who is going to tell me that our Country living in debt off a fiat currency is good, and that we need oil or for some reason control of Iraq so bad it is worth our soldiers' lives. Or would you perhaps purport that your TV news is actually fair, unbiased and complete ? If I indeed have a misperception about reality, I would really like to know about it and at that point I shall reconsider my opinions. ? But then, until conviced I shall not do so. You are cordially invited to convince me that I am wrong. In fact I welcome it. Just remember, you must convince me, facts and logical reasoning are about all that are going to accomplish this. My view of the human condition might be considered gloomy, but I think it is accurate. I don't mean to discourage either, but sound plans for a recovery are needed and will likely come from a grass roots movement, not some megalopoly controlled program. As much as they would like to, they cannot control your thoughts. Think about it. T

you surely do seem to feel everyone is out to sue someone. my munchkin had a desk hurled at her that barely missed and was also threatened by another child about bringing a gun and shooting her--again, no lawsuit. that was 1st grade. shall i go on? so many people scream "tort reform" when it's not really as prevalent as some think. it's time to get off the "everyone is suing everyone" bandwagon as it's an echo you're hearing. living in the state with the highest number of shysters in the country, there has been so much tort reform that should you find yourself on the receiving end of some gross malpractice, you won't be able to have a day in court because no attorney will take it. tort reform in california has been effective; it now is prohibitively too expensive to bring the case to court versus what damages might be awarded. i wish you well.

The country living in debt is not good, and we may see some serious repercussions as a result of our massive personal and federal debt levels. A fiat currency isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's more of a matter of who issues and controls the currency. The currency issued and manipulated by the privately owned Federal Reserve is a bad thing. However, contrary to popular belief, the Colonial Scrip and the Greenback currencies worked far better than those calling for a commodity-based currency give them credit for. It wasnt his "right" You have the right to use your brain. Are you saying you are special? Some how you have these "rights" when the rest of the world DOESNT have them, yet has to earn them? Or are you just pissed off cos you're lazy?
