In reality there are many types of sub/slaves. Yes, I lean towards service type, though I know others don't. I also lean to running my own business and making Sir proud that I do. I enjoy doing things for Sir, because i am a giver type persona. I keep it simple, i chop the wood, carry the water and smile. I don't think we need a pissing contest on what we do or don't do. Since I don't live with Sir, I don't do a lot for him or his home. I wouldnt think it was beneath me if I did clean though. Us feminist of the 60's still had to clean.

Oceanwynds, I also run my own business. He tells me he wants me to be successful and financially independent, that way I choose to be with him and not have to rely on him because I have no other choice.

What are the special tasks or duties that you have to do for your domme/dom?

We have some subs write articles and stories for our site, others do artwork, and some do video projects and photo work.

What chores, duties, or tasks are you expected to do?


I have no chores or duties to perform for my Sir.What I do have are daily conversations and I must do as he asks in response to those conversations.  For example ~ I hate finances and if I tell him about something financial, I am to do as told and that is usually, "get it done now."  I obey. Everyday it is different.There are some very personal things between us that are, I guess ritual like, I must do and if I don't I must tell him.  I must say I do not remember breaking this sacred trust. I am not to lie to him.  Is that a duty or chore? I am not to isolate or withdraw emotionally from him.  This is still difficult..I am to call him as early as I can each morning ~~ is that a task or chore?  I don't think it is.  One day I got so busy with mom I didn't get a chance to call till about 4pm.  He already knew what I was doing so he asked how it went and said nothing more.I think I have shared enough.  Anything more would be considered private by him.

Well, despite the lovely direction this thread has taken, I am going to repost something I have already written about non-sexual chores. 

There is no way to list them all in this post and for most either Alandra or I do them.  It depends on who is available at the time.

Wake him up
Make his bed
Lay out his clothes
Dry him off after his shower (this isn't daily; it is based on his whim)
Make him coffee/hot chocolate
Put his shoes on
Put on his jacket
Pack up his laptop
Kiss him good bye
Go to work (mostly my chore)
Clean the house
Do laundry
Cook meals
Go shopping (mostly Alandra's chore)
Greet him at the door when he comes home
Bring him snacks
Give him a massage (that often turns sexual)
Get the bed ready for sleeping
Do whatever else he tells me/us to do

I don't mind at all.

Yes, we both greet him at the door and see him off if we are both home.  If one is in a part of the house where we will not hear him come in the door, then the other lets them know that he is home.

Usually, we both get a kiss and he hands all his stuff to us so we can put it away.  On the way out the door, we get a kiss and if we are lucky a grope and a hug.

There are very few things that he allows to interrupt this activity and often he will call when he is ten minutes away to let us know he is coming since his schedule is so erratic.

Kyra,  I had to giggle, "Non~sexual chores."I wish Sir let me do these sort of things ~ I really do.But then I wouldnt have need of a job and he wouldn't want me.

We had planned on posting, before it became a flame war about who was more subly. Too bad, it could have been interesting had it stayed on topic and not become a battle of submissive egos

It is nice.  The three of us have a very inclusive relationship; all three of us are involved in most activities together.  We don't arrange for one on one time together.  If life makes it happen then it does, but when it does it usually feels like something is missing if one is not there.


RS, the first time I posted that list, the OP was specific about things that didn't involve sex.  Gosh, I can just imagine how long the list would be if I put all the sex stuff in it  *g*
