Unrelated to the wedding of the century, when i was 11, my cousin got married and all the grownups left me alone in the room with my despised little brother while they went down to the bar...to visit....3 hours later, my mother came back to check on us and i was happily watching the tail end of Alien...with Sigourney Weaver...and my little brother was firmly stationed....behind the toilet, crying....

Apparently 3 yr olds dont like to see alien creatures clawing their way out of abdominal cavities.....[8|]waddevah....i apologised 15 yrs later.

weeeelll, the first wedding I was ever a bridesmaid was pretty lo-budget.  my bf at the time was pretty peeved about how we got sucked into helping decorate the extremely cramped venue, so he alternated blown-up condoms with the white balloons.

my favorite photo from that event is with the blushing bride and the elder pastor and the "balloons" floating above them...[:D]

When my ex's aunt got married, the family snuck into the house after they had left on their honeymoon and removed every label on every can of food in the house.....dinnertime was so much fun!!!!!  They rearranged her neat little pantry so she couldn't even begin to guess what was inside the cans!

LadyTeazer -> RE: wedding pranks? (2/12/2009 2:07:33 PM)

I don't know if this is true, or just a tall tale, but......

A guy I used to know told me that when a friend of his got married, the night before the wedding, after the groom-to-be was asleep, a bunch of his friends met at his (the groom's) house.  They quietly disassembled his car, and then re-assembled it......... on the roof of his garage.

This was way back in ancient history.  "Before" you rented limo's.  Back when you drove your own car to the ceremony, and the cars the wedding party travelled all around in were their own.  And were decorated with Kleenex "flowers".
