OK thought I was signed in under my name but it was my Masters by mistake oops.

So, here's what I wanted to say:

I've been out of the searching scene for a long time and am currently helping a friend go through it. I forgot what it can be like. 

I want to know what goes through someone's head shen they offer a collar within minutes of chatting to them online for the first time?  This was a consideration collar, but what happened to just getting to know someone first? 

If you are a mature (of mind) and secure person within yourself, why on earth do you need to jump on someone and shove a collar around their neck - consideration or otherwise?

See, to my mind it tells me you want someone - not me.  You don't know me, so you can't want 'me'.  You just want someone with the submissive tag line - it makes me feel like anybody will do, I just happen to be teh one you came across at that particular time, but it might not have been me, could have been anybody.  Do you know how special that makes me feel as a person? Not at all. 

So, Dom/mes what goes through your mind when you offer a collar of any sort to someone within 5 minutes of the very first chat?

The five minute instant collar often means..."I "might" want you.  To keep you from talking to other Doms I'm gonna slap a collar around your neck.  That way I can still check out others but you won't.  You "might" be the best I can get, but I want to be sure before deciding to put any effort into the relationship". 

This might not be your thing or my thing, but a newbie sub in sub frenzy who wants any collar as quickly as possible just might jump at the chance to have that collar...even if the collar itself means jack sh*t.

To me it means not compatible, time to move on. Someone who offers essentially a total stranger a collar isn't interested in the person, just what they identify as.

depends on the collar. Hey if its that cute and they have a spare and it fits your fashion sense, why not take the collar off their hands!


Does the collar mean anything to either person? does the sub see a collar as a bond from the D to give them time and attention and understanding? Does the D see the collar as a promise from the s to be truthful and explore their needs and desires? Do either of them see it as anything more than agreeing to meet for coffee in a cyber sense, or a "hey i think you are really neat"?

Fact is they wouldn't do it if they weren't at least sometimes successful at it.  As long as people accept and desire it, it will be offered.

How dare you poo poo on this subject....It is simply the law of large numbers.

When I was but a domiboy and I would be out at da club looking to get into something....I would ask a girl to dance and then immediately palce her hand onto the DD...Usually she would back away in horror and amazement, call me a motherfucker or worse. Once in about twenty women I would get some positive response and feedback...Then I knew  that I was good to go...No buying drinks, or hours of endless small talk, wasting time feigning to be interested in such things as her thoughts, likes or name. Lets get the fuck out of here! 

I have found that if I offer my collar at a rate of thirty per hour I will get so many positive returns....Now, not all will be desirable, so at this point I will start to whittle down the responses into several subsets...Dateable, take out in public and dooable, dooable only when no one is looking, those only good for photo fodder and of course the CM dumpster...those endearing untouchables.

So how dare you blast away at that which you could never appreciate or begin to comprehend. 

If you got any tit or ass pics laying around, it would be a shame not to send them on over.
