Hi guys! I'm new to Collarme from Los Angeles. I have a few years of experience (mostly with submission, some domination) but currently I'm single and starting a fresh search for thrills, satisfaction, and truth. I'm hoping to meet some people involved in the scene nearby and learn some new things. Any advice that can be offered by those who have been around will be highly appreciated. Cheers, -TruthSeeker

Hello there. i am a 43 year old submissive male who travels to LA a few times a year, and stays there at least a week each time i am there. i should next be there in early April. i am hoping to find friends to hang with / play with on my trips. Hope to hear from You soon! Thank You, subslave micth

There are several clubs, events and playspaces in LA. In in North Hollywood, so I know of several here if you are interested. I know Threshold and Lair de Sade have workshops, munches and play parties. Passive Arts studio seems to be a fairly young crowd with almost a club atmosphere, but they have some very nice play equipment and I have enjoyed scenes there. I like munches and workshop or demo-type events for getting to know people, but I have recently enjoyed play parties too, as I'm strated to get more involved in local groups. I would like to hear about Threshold, actually... I've been to Lair De Sade and Passive Arts once each. Lair De Sade was quite thrilling and nearly perfect; Passive Arts I wasn't quite as crazy about, as I found the environment a little restrictive to people's activities. Also, much of the crowd there was a bit on the older side and not quite compatible with my own tastes. The activities at PA are geared very much geared towards the 'punishment/whipping/restraint' side of things... which I certainly don't have a problem with, but I like having the freedom to explore other areas as well. LDS just allows people to try anything they want to. I'd like to get the chance to explore each of those two at least one more time while I'm in the city, and maybe I'll get to learn more about Threshold, as well. Thanks for the warm hello!

It is interesting that you found PA to be an older crowd and I found them to be a very young crowd (with more gawkers than actual people playing) Maybe it depends on the night. I have not had a chance to go to a play party at the LdS yet, but I've thoroughly enjoyed the several workshops I've gone to there.
