Cali, it's been raining here where I am for over a week... off and on, but generally dark sky. Don't watch the weather, but I was told that the day was gonna be sunny two days ago, and it turned out to be anything but. edit to add: Were you talking about the heat? If so, July and August are the hot months down here I thought?

Hey, it's not my fault my parents had sex in November (therefore putting my birthday in July)! And I even used to live in Florida, in a tiny town called Blitchton. A wide spot in the road, really, northwest of Ocala I believe. Someone I know drove thru it a number of years back, and reported there was nothing to the town (at that time) except the sign identifying it. Cali

The heat index where I live, in the ridges, has been between 95 F to 115 F a couple of days ago. It should not be anywhere near that hot in Ft. Myers Beach, but one never knows. Oh, and despite the heavy cloud cover today I just realized I'm a bit pink in the skin from working out in the yard for about 1 1/2 hours. The sun and the UVs are still high, so be prepared.

I'm looking forward to the company, but probably not the weather. Except for the thunderstorms. I'll probably be in the pool, and then in the AC. With my Kindle, if all y'all are in the pool or on the beach.
