It’s taken me a while for everything to settle down. Yesterday I got home around two and slept almost until nine this morning…. I’ve decided that it’s best to just sit and clear my thoughts at the keyboard…

My thoughts and memories on the weekend…
The first time I met MDR he was in my parking lot, looking up at my massive pile of luggage. All he did was shake his head and ask if I needed help, to which I smiled and said yes, please. 5 bags of luggage and a box of kitchen stuff is nothing to sneeze at … but it all fit without a problem! Our conversation consisted of “OhmyGAWDisthisreallyhappening,OhmyGAWDitIS!”
I have to say I was fairly shaking with nervousness and anticipation… I can’t speak for mdr, but those first few minutes really made me wonder what I was doing….
My most memorable impression of him was from Sunday night… watching him with Gwen and MoGa… just being amazed at the sights and sounds…. I hope that your marks last as long as you want them to, and your memories of those first few nights last forever. You have all the photo‘s you need to remember it always! *smiles*
Since Greedy lives in Tampa, an ENTIRE HOUR from me…(LOL) we all decided to meet up for lunch and get to know one another a bit better. She eased us into conversation, telling us who was there and who she had met before… I have to say she is just a little bundle of energy, so sweet and just as she seems on the boards. She shared her directions with us and we caravanned down to Ft. Myers Beach….
Later in the weekend we shared beach walks, catcalls from random men and conversation ranging from BDSM to fashion and beer. Thanks to her for showing me that not all beer is gross (see, you can learn lots of different things at an event like this….!) I love how every time she and I would talk about men, she would get this far-away look in her eyes and say how much she loved her husband….*smiles*
DarkSteven gives fabulous hugs… I just have to say that first, because that was my first impression of him. Laid back, enjoyable and funny… I so enjoyed meeting you, talking about life on the beach. Really, can it get much better than that? You definitely need to visit the Florida contingent more often and enjoy the sand, waves and wildlife. Maybe next year we can go and see some ‘gators.
Tulip and Tat-- and their awesomeness--- Tulips natural ability to put someone at ease in an instant and Tat’s awesomeness at beckoning young, fine male flesh to the party. Tat, I wish I had rubbed up against you more to absorb some of that skill… *grins*
Most memorable impressions of them? Tat’s face while mdr was worked over by Gwen and MoGa…the expression was priceless. It was a mix of awe, wonder… and hunger. I hope you can find someone to play with soon! My most memorable moments of Tulip were when she was talking about her ums and the love that was evident in each word, each smile. I can’t wait to hang out with you both again!
MoGa-- laughing and having a good time that first night, both of us with one of Hejira’s cocktails…accidentally hitting your bad foot with mine…and when I realized I was sitting in front of you saying (without thinking!) “Sorry, I’ll move so you can see”. Oh the horror! The faux pas! I'm glad you thought that was funny…
Seeing the… glee--that is the only word I can use to describe it-- on your face when you were playing, both with Sage and with mdr.
Sitting with you outside… listening to your story, having it touch my heart. You have my happy thoughts with you, my friend.
Lushy and her fabulous wardrobe… I’m so glad you let me borrow that smokin’ hot dress… it was perfect and enjoyed tremendously. I wish we could have cuddled more! I hope that response I gave that guy was good for you, it was good for me… *wink* Anytime you want to invite me over for brunch, I’m in!
Gwen and Gabe… I think I am in love… He’s short, bald and sometimes he needs his diaper changed (which is so NOT a kink of mine… LOL) but it’s love none the less. Gwen, thank you for letting me cuddle him… Also, thank you for scratching, biting and otherwise molesticating me… l luved it! We’ll have to arrange that porn party soon!
Lady Hib, I do regret that that we didn’t get to spend more time together…. I have to say that night with mdr both you and MoGa were quite formidable. *smiles* I hope that sometime in the future we can get to know one another better!
Poen-- I don’t think that we got much of a chance to talk… but Poen… from now on I WILL remember that yelling “don’t look” will make EVERYONE look! I hope that I see you soon at a local event, so that I get the chance to know you.
BlackPhoenix- what a gentleman! You’re the first man I have ever met that kissed my hand. *smiles* I enjoyed meeting you and your family, and I do hope that we all have the chance to get to know one another better.
Sage, you’re adorable. I just want to huggle you all up! I hope that you had as much fun with MoGa as I did while watching you two together…. I hope to talk to you soon!
NaplesDomme-- thank you so very, very much for sharing your space with us…what a birthday party!
Thorny I’m so glad that I got to meet you! Since, um…. *clears throat* you didn’t seem to have much free time (you slut, slut, slut!) hopefully we can get together and chat sometime when I’m up in Ohio…. I wish you the best of luck in the future (and with those frequent flyer miles *wiggles eyebrows*)
Hejira-- *smiles* I really don’t know what to say other than the insight that you offered me has meant so much to me, and the example that you set is one that I strive for. (I really hope that doesn’t sound too cheesy, because it’s true.) You’re one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, and the love that you have for your Master shines out of you. I know that we will keep in touch, and I am so glad that you all aren’t too terribly far away! Thank you for sharing her, Cuffkinks, I am so happy that I met her!
Cali…*sighs* I’m trying not to get all teary-eyed even thinking of what to write. What I most want to say is thank you. It’s taken me over a year to get out from behind the computer to actually experience something and in all of that time I did my best not to build up too many dreams or want something that was impossible.
Despite all of that trying, I did have expectations--- and you surpassed them in everyway… it’s more than I could have imagined, or even have words for.
Thank you for being my first…*smiles*
I can’t imagine anyone taking the time and having as much patience as you did. All of the things that scared me, don’t anymore and I have you to thank for that.
I admit that I had a moment when you put the cuffs on me at the dungeon… one instant of “OHMYGOD”… but I wanted it more than I was scared, mostly due to the fact that you helped me earlier that day with your floggers…
Thank you for taking the time on your birthday, at your party to help me realize that…yes… this is right for me.
I know that this was only the first step on this journey…and as MoGa put it “who really wants to get to the end, because that means it’s over!”
Thank you all so very, very much for being with me on the biggest step…the first step.
I value you all more than you can know.
