Is forced russian rulette the ultimate mind fuck? (maybe with blancs.. unknown to the mindfuckee?)

Just wondering as I am watching the deer hunter on TV.. hehe

amayos -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 2:29:47 PM)

If you know the bullet is in the chamber for the next shot, it makes you armed (as demonstrated in the film). :D

Btw, a blank at close range can cause serious injury and even death.

Blanks can be lethal; both the wadding and the blast itself can tear through tissue and even break bones.

One of the elements of a good dominant in my opinion is that he or she works hard at finding all risks so they can be properly evaluated. Mindfucks don't eliminate this; they make it even more mandatory.

Actors Jon-Erik Hexum and Brandon Lee were both killed by handguns firing blank cartridges. Not a smart idea.

~stef

veronicaofML -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 3:13:52 PM)

Brandon Lee were both killed by handguns
===============================
actually?
Lee was killed by an exploding "grocery sack" he had..on the set..as a prop..
it opened up his chest like a can o' tomater soap...

it was supposed to be... a blank..

IrishMist -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 3:19:27 PM)

Umm no, Lee was killed by a gun...

Notanaddict -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 3:50:57 PM)

I just want to STRESS that i would never concider doing any play involving guns, armed or not... but watchin the movie... it is the the thing i can imagin fucks the most with yr head

IronBear -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 3:54:14 PM)

Russian Roulette can be used safely (from a physical point of view), only if the barrel is removed from pressing against the head and pointed away from the victim who needs to be blindfolded (Blanks should still be used). Not really the sort of thing I'd be doing with my property (kajira). I can totally mindfuck (on the rare occasions I chose to) people with words alone (and a tad of sorcery).

veronicaofML -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 3:55:29 PM)

Umm no, Lee was killed by a gun...

He may have been carrying a bag. He was also wearing pants and a shirt. They didn't kill him either. The reports seem consistent that the death was from a bullet fragment propelled by a blank.

It always has been--

Oberonrex -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 5:14:01 PM)

Others have already said it, but as someone who uses rifles, pistols and other implements of destruction -- NO. A blank can and will kill you just as dead as a bullet at close range. At semi-close range they can and will do impressive damage. The actors mentioned are just a couple of the people killed by blanks (yes, Lee was killed by a blank), and more have been injured. You also have to factor in noise and hearing to anything like that. This is not something I would do with anyone for whom I cared in any way, shape, or form.

The only fun mindfuck I have ever done with blanks was vanilla: At the range, I slipped blanks into the pistol of someone who was busy bragging to the ladies about what a great shot he was with said pistol... The look on his face when nothing hit the target (and the ladies smiled) was priceless.

RiotGirl -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 6:59:30 PM)

now while i can see what the OP was saying. And i can see how the mindfuck could be done safely. Place a gun on a table, a bullet, tell the sub "we're gonna play russian roulette" blind fold her, load a blank instead, point the gun AWAY FROM her, and move away so the cartridge popping out doesnt hit her.. aim at something that can take the impact of the blank. and pull the trigger until the blank gets fired. All the while saying "oo got off lucky that time.. 4 empty rounds left, one bullet.. you think its in the next round?" and so on as you click toward the blank.

Now i can see that as being the ultimate mind fuck. As for ever ALLOWING it to happen. Heck no. Guns are to be respected and not played with and if anyone were to "play" with a gun in my presence i'd immediately lose respect and put myself a safe distance from them. (like not in their presence) And as in play, i mean to handle a gun in any way shape or form as to what it was not made for. Its made to kill. Dont act like its not!

but still.. i can see what the OP was saying

The real game gets played that after each shot is taken, the chamber gets spun again.

But like others... gun play is a major mind fuck and not one I would ever permit. I don't mind a good mind fuck. Like one KnighofMist mentioned in another post few weeks back.

Guns kill, loaded or not. In expert hands and in the hands of ones that know nothing about them.

Man, that is a great mind fuck. Wish I had thought of that one once or twice for similar reasons but the audience would have been other special opps folk….. I’m going to remember that one for the next time I’m on the range with some of the same crew.

My version of the explanation of the theory of relativity is that guns don’t kill, harm people; People do. E.G. Place a loaded gun on a table in an empty room. The relative danger factor to life and limb from that gun is 0%. The closer a human being moves closer to the gun the higher the relative danger factor to life and limb from that gun increases from 0% upwards as the human moves closer to the gun it reaches 100% if and when the human being picks up the gun, cocks it and points it at another person.

I grew up with a shotgun in one hand and a fishing rod in the other, (typical country kid in Australia). I was taught (at times painfully at the end of a brass ferruled gun cleaning rod) good and safe gun practices. I’ve never shot anyone I didn’t intend to and until three years ago I was required by law to be armed 24/7. In all those years I have never lost any respect for any weapon bladed or other wise and the damage they can do.

RiotGirl -> RE: The ultimate mindfuck (1/16/2006 10:55:05 PM)

i actually had an experience as a kid that taught me alot. My brother growing up around guns (with my father, a great lover of them) was having some fun. He had a pump action pellet gun. Nothing big. He put two pellets in, shot once in the distance, once in the ground, once in the air and saw me come running. For fun, i suppose, he pumped it up the max, aimed and fired. At me. Good shot too, hit me right where my heart was and i dropped. No damage was done, just a little red circle where my heart would be. i, of course, started screaming. (and in my wierd perverse sense of humour, its HILARIOUS TO ME) i had no clue what happened (didnt seem my brother aim) and my brother Freaked, cos he was SURE there was no pellets in the thing. So as hilarious as it all is to me, NOW, it taught me a valuable lesson. What really struck me back then was, we had 3 guns with us that we were out firing. (up in the mountains) One of them was a rifle. If it had been the "rifle" i could of very well been dead. Just because, some one "thought".

Just cos you THINK you know something about a gun, doesnt mean its nessacarily true. You may THINK its unloaded, you may THINK its harmless, but until that gun has been taken apart you DONT know. Which is why I dont play with guns, and i dont hang around those who do. They're dangerous and ment to kill.

Plus of course, i heard the stories from what happens when ppl DO play with them. The ones on the other side of the barrel, end up dead.

but back to the whole mind fuck thing. i think it could be a good one! In theory

Bruce Lee's (sp?) (Brandon Lee (sp?)) son died by being shot by a blank.

The ultimate mind fuck really depends upon the mind of the person you're dealing with.
