When you contact someone asking for face photos, and promise to send one in return, the return photo should show your face. Duh. It should not be of you looking behind you & away from the camera. Also, photos on profiles should be of the same person, and that person is generally expected to be you. Seems obvious, but it evidently needs saying. Unfortunately, I'm no longer likely to respond with photos nor post any. A few bad apples ruin the barrel. Its too bad.

Photos on the profile can be you, they can be showing off your bondage, your equipment, former or current partners... Granted its a little annoying if someone asks for a face pic and then doesnt reciprocate... but there is no rule saying you have to go along with it either. Next time, why not say "you first?" DV

Putting it in his profile or journal would be too logical. It's better to start a thread that makes a statement instead of asking a question. That's a good way to impress people.

With all respect, that's not a good reason to stop sending your photos or make them unavailable. Basing what you do upon the actions of others is no way to live or socialize.

I'm sure that's frustrating but would you really want a photo from someone who acts that way? Perhaps we need to implement a photo escrow service.

I have my settings so I see only profiles with photos and I do not return messages to profiles with out photos.

Why not be glad that they show how incompatible they are early on? Now you don't have to waste more time with someone you couldn't form a relationship with. Beyond that, why not ask about their feelings towards exchanging photos and see if they need more time than you are willing to wait. Because if the first email is a funny one liner, the second one is too early to demand a face shot. Are you talking to them, or want to know if they turn you on enough to start talking first? Because women frequently want a sense of beginning compatibility before they are willing to give out pictures. Maybe go at their pace and see if you get better responses. Or continue to make them uncomfortable and not get what you want, and have the satisfaction of calling them all fake.

I guess I'm missing the point. It takes me two minutes to send a face pic. If someone doesn't reciprocate, a polite reminder may be in order. To be very blunt, thehelp, you're a male sub looking for a Domme, like a whole bunch of others. Posting here and whining and lecturing us on proper protocol will not help your chances of getting a Domme one bit.

You are always taking a chance with photos...Even if they sent one how can you be sure it is really them?...Believe me this happens often. Are you not here to take a chance?... Like the rest of us you will need to hope for the honest and sincere and deal with the liars. If you don’t take that chance how can you expect Collerme to serve your purposes?
