Beware of scammers from the state of Florida.  They are running some sort of scam.  They claims she is stuck in Africa, needs money to pay their hotel bill.  They wants approximately $600 in addition to airfare back to the state s.

the hotel theyclaims to be registered in does not exist according to google.

Don';t let them scam you

Ah sod it, we all come across these 'artistes', the knack is to discern them before they spill their beans. Me, I stipulate my requirements, up front in my journal, that ignored, I create more work for the CM admin or whatever they use to obliterate spam.

The other thing of course, is I click on the ''view forum posts'' before I do anything, no input on here, then I am wary.

I once had an IM conversation with a woman who claimed to be stranded in Africa.  She asked me for money, and I patiently explained to her how the US Embassy there could help her out.

I get Angry when I find out how many people actually fall for this shit because it would seem that that many people being THAT stupid should be a sign that there is something wrong with the education system yet no one puts these things together.

Sheeesh....I get one of these contacting me every month.  It is the most common of the scams on the internet and has been going on for years. You just now discovered it??  wow!!    If you fell for it bragging about being taken in is a bit silly.  Read the top of your mail page.....Collarme warns you about sending money to those you do not know. 

You had to research before knowing it was a scam??!!
