ORIGINAL: ArizonaSunSwitch Awwwww....Rushie Poo is effective and it bothers you. Too bad there's a first amendment. Oh wait, you guy's are working on that obstacle with the "fairness doctrine". Obama's policy's mean less freedom (starting with the shredding of the first and 2nd amendment) and less economic opportunity for all. I certainly hopes he fails. Effective, no. Offensive, yes. The only people the fat blowhard is effective with are those gullible enough to take his rants seriously and provide the ratings and advertising dollars that built his $24 million oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach and finance his lavish lifestyle. I can only wonder at what would have been the conservative moral outrage if a liberal talk show host had made such a statement about Bush. But really, Rush has your best interest at heart. He wants Obama's policies to fail and the economy to go into a tailspin so he can say "I told you so" and have at least four years of guaranteed ratings. Capitalism at its finest. Build your fortune at the expense of your fellow citizens. It is you that will bear the brunt of the economic hardship should these policies fail, not Rush. Yet, he has you enthusiastically hoping for the collapse of your own country's economy, and your own economic ruin, just because you don't like the man in charge. I never liked Bush, I disagreed with most of his policies, but I never hoped that he would fail. Because, no matter how much I thought his policies wrong, or that they wouldn't work, I recognized that the failure of those policies would have negative consequences for the country, and ultimately for me. So, it just boggles my mind to hear you hope for Obama's failure, considering that it will mean failure for the country, and ultimately you and I.
