Read a lot. Think a lot. Ask yourself, once you know some things from reading, what seems to be the "path" that draws you? Be honest and talk about your vanilla self when you begin to talk to a dominant. Interact in real time with others in the lifestyle, get to know people, and learn what's reality and what's fantasy. You may find out that by watching someone do a certain sort of play that something you never considered flips your switches....or you may find that something you thought would flip your switch doesn't in real life.
