BTDT in the early days of being online... he turned out to be married... and I wasted 3 months repeatedly asking what the problem was and why he wouldn't come meet with me. He was a mere 175 miles away. Cybersubs? Like R.O.U.S. 's I don't think they exist. Submissive, they aren't. Just mainly wankers looking for some strange among us kinksters usually. Few things in life are black and white. I will not say I would accept a cybersub. But then I wouldn't cut a male off at the knees for being a thousand miles away from me and trying to get to me. Occassionally you will find that diamond of a male in the position of being unable to reach you right now. I might waste my time with fifty "can't get there from here" males. But I will not cut off the communication just because they are unable to come to me NOW. Whats a few key strokes? Heck look at how many we make just chatting on the boards. Sundew

I had an online sub for about a year and a half. His name was Chris. He was an Englishman living/ working in Hong Kong. I lost track of him shortly after the take back by China. I miss him. We became a lot more than cyber boy and Governess. I started writing erotica for him. I still do it but it's not the same. I didn't plan to meet him, really. Sure I let myself daydream. But I knew it wasn't going to happen. In his case, I'd do it all again. But I doubt I will ever again find a cyber sub I'd want to bother with. He was just unique somehow.

up to this point, i would have to say, not very. i have been speaking with a Domme for almost four months via chat and email. we are only 15 minutes or so apart, yet we have not met. She tells me often how She desires me to serve Her, yet will never set a meeting date. As i read this, i guess that really doesn't answer Your question. i can say, though, that at least both parties know from the start that cyber is all it will be and that takes the pressure to meet off.

Ok have to put my two cents in. I have had a online sub for 4 years now. Online is the only was for not only distance keeps us apart but situations as well. I admit that as the years gone by we have not only become Domme/submissive, but we have become friends and even soulmates. I admit that i would love to meet him and have him with me always, but we both know its impossible so we make with what we have. This is accomplished with a lot of love and trust for each other. Welllllll, I had about 12 cyberslaves as of yesterday... and as of today, FOUR! Did some serious weeding/pruning! Each week, I write out a Lesson with two parts, Edict (learning/teaching) and Mandamus (practise/exercise) and weeding out the slaves which failed to respond. I have a strong feeling that the slave pool will dwindle down to one or two devotees who then will possibly become RT slaves. I expected the attrition rate to be high. I weed out the 'wankers' by not getting into hot and heavy straight off. Rather, I teach their larger heads. Will this method work out? shrug Don't know. But yes, it's work and yes, I'd love to find a RT slave out of it. So far, one prospect sounds very good, AND he's almost local! he may end up being My driver, chef, gofer, chew-toy and carpet! Yum! The right "online only" relationship can evolve into real life if the chemistry is right. But subs have to realize that just because it's "online only" that doesn't mean that good chemistry must exist from the start. I am very into online and long distance play when it includes a combination of photos or web cam play or digital videos. Good digital cameras are very affordable these days (I even bought one for a sub once because I was tired of still photos, I wanted the 30-second video clips). I also require phone as part of it. Lots of subs line up for this kind of treatment, and many get downright offended if I do not accept their offer. They don't realize I am not just offering a free wank-session for them to cheat behind their wives backs or get their jollies. I require a man that I find both physically attractive and sensually/intellectually stunning. I want to have a relationship via email and phone that drives a lust in me that makes me need to see him submit via photos or videos -- that makes me want to send him toys simply because "I want to see you in this locking ball gag." Lust is a motivator for me when it comes to domination. I don't need a guy to pay me. But I have to want the man. Period. I won't settle for less. Meow. F.
