Ooh this slave can't wait - in 2 weeks, 4 days and a wake up (not really counting - honest) she is flying way across the pond to be be with her Master for the first time... we've been waiting, planning and talking about this for months and now it's finally around the corner...... this girl can't sleep and everytime she thinks about being with him her tummy does flips and well let's just say other parts start to tingle.... [;)] mira was wondering about others that had done a similar thing - did you end up relocating? what did you wear when you got off the plane to meet your soul Master? how the feck did you sleep when it got close to being together? 2 weeks, 4 days and a wake up - yay!!!!!

Well, as you just read, some hook-ups here have resulted in marriage or something permanent, and others have resulted in break-ups. Life's a big crap-shoot....you just have to go for it, enjoy the ride and the journey! [:)]

haha windchymes - mira knows all about the break ups - she has had a couple from CM... but she's got a feeling that this time her shot is not one in the dark....

Hi slavemira, yes I went twice over the pond and twice declined to go ahead. I was invited to give one guy a chance who messed it up twice and he would have agreed to come the other way if I give him another chance but I happily declined as his attitude in the past did show me that I would neither want to serve him, nor would I consider to put anymore trust into him if we would go ahead as he blew too many chances. Now in the next weeks I am going to meet an american guy (as you seem to do) and he will come to me. Will wait and see how this goes. If we don't hit it off then I will meet someone else in new zealand over a very long summer holiday indeed...as we were in touch often but for a variety of different reasons could never give it a try. Regarding what did I wear, I wear what I wear every day, there is no difference for me what to wear "for that occasion" and sleep was no issue to me as my life keeps me too busy for being that excited about it that it would affect my sleep. My Owner and I were in a long distance relationship for two months before we were able to meet in person for the first time. I remember those 'tingles' and 'belly flipflops' well -- I had them for the entire plane ride and dash down the concourse to meet his place. (we met at third, unrelated location to each of us) Months later, I drove a Uhaul 800 miles to be with him. Two months after that, we crossed halfway across the country together, to find our new home in the state in which he was born. It's a lovely feeling. :) In His service, ~sabis, owned by Cumulus

I went to meet Master for coffee. I dressed in a casual summery dress. There were no expectations, there were no rules or anything like that. It was simply meeting another person for coffee..nothing else. The conversation was normal and casual and we just enjoyed each other's company. But then again he wasn't my Master until after we had met a few more times in real life. Up to that point we had just chatted like two normal human beings over the span of a couple years so I wasn't nervous about meeting him or anything like that and I slept just fine. NOW I get nervous sometimes before seeing him but it's all good. My advice I guess is just to not set up yourself in expectations but it seems it may be too late for that. You don't know who he is until you've met in person and you both get to know each other in person. I wouldn't relocate anytime soon until you're both absolutely sure of things. You can't be that sure until you've taken the time to know each other in person over more than just one or two dates. Anyway good luck and I do hope it works out well for you.

My Master lives close to me so not big distance. I still get tingles when i know he is coming over 3 years later. I hope it all goes well for you and it is everything you hope it iwill be. Matt's littleone

Anticipation can be exciting and affirming, go with it. Enjoy the time you spend together. Try not to have too many expectations or project any farther into the future than meeting him. Because, well, you never know ...

slavemira, i wish you and your Master every happiness. Over 5 years ago Andy and little me started an LDR, me travelling to see him every weekend after working the week, and after a few months i moved to be with him. Granted it wasn't as great a distance as yours, but it might as well have been. If your relationship gives you as much fulfilment as ours has you will be a very happy woman!

I had a long-distance relationship with a sub in Germany (I live in the US). When we got together, she just wore whatever it is she wore any other day (although I think for the first meeting she got dressed up a bit, hard to tell since she was a casual girl). Bottom line, we Master's don't care so much what you look like or what you wear. We are attracted to your brain and your personality, and if you are there with goose bumps and a look of excitement on your face, the rest will take care of itself. Just relax and enjoy the time. As for how you sleep on long trips, try two Exedrine PM and a double scotch.
