So in my profile, I'm asked whether I'm a sub, a dom or a switch. The truth is, I'm not sure. I know I'm curious about exploring. I know I prefer to be in control if there's any kind of power play. I'm not a masochist, and don't really enjoy pain (I don't think). However, I do like strong women. I don't think I would feel comfortable having a long term partner who considered me her master. I tend to be equal and fair in relationships, and like a partner rather than a tag-along. What do you think ... dom? switch? confused? J.

Thanks for the replies so far! Curious seems appropriate. Explorer also seems appropriate. I guess the next step would be finding someone to explore with! It seem like with any singles site, there's limited success rates. Where should one go to meet people with this interest in common?

You know was thinking about defining myself. I not sure what label fit the best, but i am more comfortable with being a submissive. This though carries over in other parts of my life. Now raised conservative Jewish, but follow the path of the Goddess, i not sure how to define me there either. To some i just say I am a Jewish witch:) Explore and see where it takes you. Kalista, Thank you for your secret. Mum's the word! I don't really feel pressured to decide. Obviously, I think that experience will be the teacher, and it might totally change my perception! There are plenty of people in this scene who are fluid. They start as a sub then become a dom or vice versa. If you need to have a label, then at this point switch is probably best to go with as it leaves things open. Have to say one thing on this, most doms who are good at it and natural prefer a submissive/slave who is a very strong independent woman in her own right and knows her own mind. It means she doesn't bow down to just anyone, but takes an equally strong man she respects, which is a huge compliment to the dom (he was the one to tame her in a sense). It also means he can trust her to look after herself if he's not around and to be able to look after herself if anything should happen to him. Also, where is the challenge if she's 'yes' to everything all the time? As for bloke, it men's a man in Australia too.
