I thought there was such an urgency to pass the "Pelosi Stimulus Spending Package" that if Congress did not vote immediately, and please don't waste time reading the final version of the Bill that was posted at midnight, and than...and than...put off signing the only salvation left for humanity in North America to ..to.. I'm stuttering.....to go to Chicago for a photo op with Michelle on "V-Day"! Apparently the only "rush" was to get this thousand pages of "democrat party catch up legislation" voted on was the Presidents concern not about the economy, but "Rush Limbaugh" and conservative media that daily were exposing the taxpayer to the waste and corruption in the Bill and it's detriorating popularity with the public. And now, safely out of the White House and all those "distractions" of dealing with foreign affairs, war briefings, office visits from department heads like the CIA, national security, phone calls from people with foreign accents who want to talk about their country's relationship with the new man on the basketball court...we have yet another "photo op". Everything is a photo op...an opportunity to get down with the people. Anyone wonder who is watching the store? Anyone wonder how a man with no experience in government management, is using his internship to get "out of the White House"? Is there something "Freudian" about his actions...or just simply politics as usual for a community activist who is just doing what he knows. So...this is "change"? Very interesting...and scary. At least during those years when Bill Clinton was writing the Rush Limbaugh show and making Rush a very rich man, we were all making a buck. Now Barack is giving "Rush" his daily show on a platter.., making him even richer....but we are losing our 401K;s, our safety nets, our healthcare probably, and the future possibilities of our children.
