Sometimes we don't see the good things in our lives - even the smallest things that make us smile - because we are focused on all the stuff that goes wrong. This is the place to remind us of all the happy things, no matter how grand or small, we have going for us. I am grateful for my little family, even when they make me crazy. I am grateful for my job. I am grateful for my little apartment and my van. They keep a roof over our heads, and give us a way to go from point A to point B. I am grateful that my ex and I remain on good terms so that the Things are able to see that even after a divorce, their parents can be friendly. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to travel and live overseas enough to know that this is the best country in the world (as far as I'm concerned), and I'm proud that I am an American. I am grateful that I was able to pay my bills this month without struggling terribly like I do at times. I am grateful that I met DB, and He brought me to this wonderful little corner of the internet, in order for me to create a profile where I might meet learn something or make a friend or two. I am grateful that I have learned more than I ever thought I could and that I have made some of the most tremendous friends imaginable since I've been here. I am grateful that I have a Master whom I am proud of and that He considers me perfect for Him. I am also grateful for Chinese take-out when I've had a long day at work.

I am grateful that God will not give me any challenges that I do not have the fortitude to overcome. And I am grateful that I might just learn something in the journey.

aww Red, You must've been reading my mind today... i was just thinking today that it had been a while since i made a written list of gratefuls. i'm grateful that i have both the willingness and the ability to make a list of gratefuls today. i'm grateful for the gift of sobriety. i'm grateful for the ability to go to work every day. i'm grateful to have a man in my life who truly loves me unconditionally. So much so that He is willing to hold my hair while i puke. i'm grateful to have the ability to pay my debts today. i'm grateful to my healthy today (for what it is). i'm grateful that i have the ability and willingness to be honesty today. i'm grateful i have a place to live.. i'm grateful that i have a way to get back and forth to work today. i'm grateful that i've learned that despite what i was taught, i have the ability to love and be loved... i'm grateful that i've met some dedicated, honest, and life long friends here. i'm grateful that there's people in my life who will risk telling me the truth. i'm grateful that i have the ability and willingness to love, laugh, cry, grow, and talk today. i'm grateful that there are people in my life that are willing to love me despite of myself. i'm just really really really grateful. I am grateful for my super sized kitten who doesn't care if I have a bad hair day but thinks I am his mommy and loves me no matter what. I am grateful for my friends and the care they have shown me after my recent dismissal. They have stood beside me and never doubted that I did my best. I am grateful for the relationship that I had even though it ended because there were some incredible moments in it and I learned that I truly am a slave. I am grateful that my recent loss of appetite has taken me from just over the overweight range into the "normal" weight range for the first time in years. I now wear a size 12 for the first time since high school. : ) I am thankful that God can see my heart and will never leave me. While the people in our life may come and go He is always just a prayer away. I am thankful for these boards where I can express myself and get the chance to do good for others.

Oh, my... Things I am greatful for... This might be a long list. Bear with me! I am greatful that my mom and my stepdad gave me a place for my son and I to live when things with my ex just weren't working out. I am greatful that I tried my hardest at my relationship with my son's father and gave it everything that I had, and that I ended it when we could still be civil to each other, for the little one's sake. I am greatful that I have friends that really do love me, no matter how "weird" they think I am. And some even love me FOR that reason. I am greatful that I have a wonderful man in my life that is my best friend, my hero, my Master, my lover, and a great father figure to the little one, that I want to spend the rest of my life with. I am greateful that He wants to be with me through everything. When I tell Him that I think I might be pregnant (every month), He is right there beside me every step of the way. I am greatful that He is wonderful with my son, and my family. And wants to be a part of both. I am greatful that Mark sent me to these boards, and told me that I might find what I was looking for, and I did. I am greatful that I have "met" so many wonderful people on here that I feel that I can connect with, and that I can feel comfortable with. I am greatful that things are finally starting to look up for me. I am greatful that my ex convinced me with one sentance that I should go to beauty school. I have met some very nice, and wonderful friends their as well. I am greatful that my UM is sleeping through the night now, and that we got His breathing under control. I am greatful that my little brother loves me for who I am, and is so close to me, and is always there to support me. I am greatful that I get along with my brother's girlfriend, and that he gets along with Sweets. I am greatful that hopefully soon, I will be on my own, and able to raise my own family. :) And, I am greatful that Red started this thread! Thank you Darlin'!

I am grateful that I spent the last months of my fathers life by his side. I am grateful for my friends I am grateful to know the love of God I am grateful in knowing that God will give me nothing that I can not handle. I am grateful for laughter I am grateful for the health of my son I am grateful that my son got a full time job I am grateful that I'm going to spend some time with my Mom. I am grateful for the life I have (even when I bitch and moan)

i am grateful for the life i have lived so far, the people i have loved and the chance i get every day to make my corner of the world a better place. i am grateful for the blessing of my oldest boy, even with his multiple handicaps and mental challenges, he made the biggest change in who i was and have become. i am grateful for the three sons i adopted with my ex, even though they have their own difficulties thanks to drug addicted birth moms, i am blessed with being able to raise them into decent young men, even though that may be very challenging at times. i am grateful for the love of my life, cub, who has taken over the things i have been unable to do and basically become my househubby. i am able to attend to my studies and my health care needs and know he's there doing all the things that need done. he's a great dad to my boys, and if we ever do adopt a daughter, i'm sure he'll be a wonderful dad to her too. i am grateful for the roof over our heads and the food in the cupboard. i am grateful to have my parents just celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary, my siblings all healthy and happy in their marriages/relationships and the nieces and nephews all happy and healthy. *I am grateful that there are wonderful people like the ones i have "met" here to laugh with, cry with and support each other thanks for the reminder of all we have DRH! Specifically at this moment, I am so grateful my 21 year old is alive. She would have been hit in the head by a 9 mm round at work the other day had she not walked away from that spot just seconds before. I keep looking at the pictures they took of the damage that bullet caused and all I can think of is how close I came to losing her that night. THANK YOU GOD for keeping my baby safe. Never pass up an opportunity to tell those close to you how much you love them, how very special they are, how they enrich your life, how much joy they bring you. . .just because they're here. It might be the last chance you get to tell them. [sm=river.gif]

I am grateful for my husband (!!), family and friends I am grateful for my job, car and home I am grateful for Teh Kittehs I am grateful for each and every birthday (nobody in my family, especially myself, expected me to make it past 18 based on the life I was living) I am grateful for CM/CC, without which I wouldnt have MET my husband (!!) or you oddballs and pervs! I am grateful for My past, for it has shaped what I am. I am grateful for the present for it is shaping what I will become. I am grateful for the best 19 YO UM in the world. Its simple for me I am grateful to be alive and FEEL alive anything and everything else comes under that heading. I have had a blessed life despite of hardships.....I could never cover all the things Im grateful for.

I'm grateful that this long a$$ day is almost over. I'm grateful that I have a job. I'm grateful that I have a home to go to when the work day is over. I'm grateful that I'm alive when I should have been dead many times over. I'm grateful that I have a wonderful, loving BEAUTIFUL family. I'm grateful that 3 grandums are part of that family...........a BIG part!! I'm grateful I have 3 sets of little, pudgy arms to hug me when I visit. I'm USUALLY grateful for Jilly & Jolly but only if they sleep when I sleep! *The list just goes on & on much like the Energizer Bunny.*
