ORIGINAL: peppermint It's not that you shouldn't have asked. You asked the question when most people are in bed sleeping. Most people have not done much play with sounds. So, it's not surprising that you haven't had a reply yet. My Sir has done catheters and sounds with men only, however, stretching is not an interest of his. Really? I would have thought that sounds are quite popular... I think sounds are easier to use and sterilize than most other toys, if you don't have an autoclave, a pressure cooker or boiling water will do, as for catheters, personally NO GO, anything most nurses are worried about in conditions that are as sterile as possible, I just find it a bit too "touchy", also they go deeper than sounds and are more invasive, a sound will hardly ever come near your bladder or damage anything because as a rule of thumb they glide in easily and should NEVER be forced, catheters go much deeper and if you damage the "valve" (sorry not a native speaker) at the exit of your bladder, that spells trouble, also you own urine helps to sterilize any little cut or injury you might have, so drinking lots and peeing lots is important, in case you do it late, you might not pee sufficiently and you can get a rather nasty urethral infection. I would say the potential damage from sounds is minimal if he makes sure that he doesn't force the sounds in, they should always glide in (I don't mention hygienic conditions because that should be a given) and the urethra is not rigid but rather elastic , since the female urethra is shorter than the male one, that should be taken into consideration too.
