I know its a few days since Valentines Day and I saw a post about what the Dommes had in mind. This is about the subs was there anything about this, or past V-Days were your sub completely surprised you or did something really special without being asked, or it being expected. This could even be a poem, a fully cooked dinner, backrub, whatever it was that sticks out to you.

Since pet and I have over 800+ miles between us its hard for us to get to see eachother, especially since I'm going to school and they have a really strict protocol on how many days we can miss without getting booted from the program. I'm ususally a sworn hater of V-Day because nothing good ever happened to me until pet came into my life. Even with the distance he sent me the most beautiful journey necklace I've ever seen, along with a card with very heart felt comments added by him. I'm ever thankful to pet who's shown me that life doesn't always have to be a ugly place but it has many splendors and love....and rubber! I just can't wait until next year when we'll finally be spending V-Day together.~Lorelei

Last year, I worked on Valentine's Day. I put in some pretty long hours, so I wasn't really expecting to be able to do anything. I still came home to flowers. Not a regular bouquet, but a whole garden. While I was gone, clip had spent the entire day planting them as a surprise for Me.

This year, I happened to have a long weekend off for Valentine's Day, so I planned a little trip. After all of this time, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to head a bit north and visit La Fortress up in NC. The folks up there had planned out a mini spa and vendor's market during the day and a play party that evening. They welcomed us out of town folks with open arms and I have to say I had a lovely time there.

That wasn't the gift though. It was something else. Some time back in the past few weeks, I'd had this dream. In it, clip and I were doing a scene with needles. Not the acupuncture type he's done before. I had dreamed that I put five needles in his chest, all of different sized gauges. Anyway, the dream had been so clear and vivid that I had told clip about it. I didn't really give it much thought after that.

Toward the end of the play party at La Fortress, clip gave Me that dream. Going through with it definitely scared him, but it was something that he wanted to give of himself that you just can't buy from a store. It ended up being four out of five because I messed up the fifth needle that was laid out. I didn't care. The whole thing was more beautiful than I had seen in My own mind and definitely something I'll never forget.
