My experiences with dual-topping have been mostly positive, but the times I have done it, I am co-topping with another woman I know really well - one is my kinky best friend, another was a bi-sub-switch type relationship awhile back and another was a good friend. The other random times have been casual enough that the chemistry wasn't an issue. I'm looking into more of these experiences in the near future but with women I don't quite know as well. Part of me wants to really do that communication/friendship building up front with the lady in mind, the other part of me wants to just trust my instincts and femdom side and know that once in the situation, we'll go at a pace that will allow comfort on all levels. Have any femdoms here "co-topped" with a woman you did not know well? Have you experienced feelings of possessiveness of your sub that you did not expect once it started? Or, vice versa, when you were sharing HER sub/bottom, did you feel unsure of what the boundaries were? I kind of enjoy a good femdom/bad femdom vibe/situation and tend to play that up - or, bad femdom/badder femdom. What dynamics have you enjoyed? Akasha

I have co-topped before, but not when the submissive was in a committed relationship with me. The one time I was playing with a couple who had a strong pre-existing relationship, I took my cues from the other domme; I was a guest in her domain and she had arranged the scene to her liking, since she had a fantasy of having her slaveboy serve wine and hors d'oevres while dressed in sexy lady's lingerie. Great fun for all, and her boy was very well behaved and pretty while serving--she was justly proud of him. In public play, I have co-topped with dominant friends both male and female. I have never initiated such a session, though--I'm generally just invited to participate because I'm in town/available. These events are understood to be completely casual--no sex, no strings, no emotional drama or melodrama. I would not want to attempt anything more private with people who I didn't know well, or whose dynamic I wasn't pretty familiar with in advance. Seems like a potentially volatile situation.

I have only co-topped with dominants that I know and who I know have limits/desires similar to my own. I have always had a good time doing it. I don't think I would do it with someone I hadn't at least watched top a few times.

I have co-topped with a friend who had a regular sub. She led the scene and I followed her lead. He enjoyed the extra attention.

I have co-topped with someone before. At the time I didn't know her as well as I do now, but she wasn't a total stranger. I didn't feel possesive about the bottom, and allowed her to basically control the scene. I think that had more to do with the fact that I am normally on the bottom side of the equation and even though we were co topping, I still saw her as the dominant one.

My first experiences 10 years ago were working with a Pro Domme. She was a fabulous teacher who specialized in sensual bitchy domination and absolutely captivated her slaves. I feel priviledged to have learned from what I consider to be the best. She is now married. Later, I mentored another young lady myself and we worked together some. She turned out to be EXTREMELY sadistic and totally into very HARDCORE PAIN EDGE PLAY , in spite of my more vampy, sultry tutelage. Our totally different energies played well off of each other and made for extremely interesting sessions with subs. I must say I enjoyed that more than with my teacher where both of us were vamps.

Double domming can be a lot of fun, when you got the right chemistry it's mind blowing and you really feed off each other, however if the energy is not right and one of them tries to "outdomme" the other, blahhhhh, quite a bad experience for everybody, luckily that hasn't happened too often.

The only problem with dual-topping is the sub. SOme of them become real glutons for punishment and attention and tend to get rebellious and incite both dommes as if taunting us to go harder, but that's just men. As long as everybody knows where their limits and privileges are drawn to begin and end, everything is ok. I'd love to do it again but then again, now that I have gone into a different form and now surpassing problems, it's not possible.

Actually that is a problem that I never found a problem... It hasn't ever happened but it if it would, I would treat it the same way as I would treat it on my own - gag, ignore - I find the best punishment is one that they really don't like, so being ignored sorts that really quickly, I don't indulge people who try to "top from the bottom". The only problem with double domming is actually that some subs want the more intimate one to one experience and get a bit distracted, but that can be cleared in advance.

I like co-topping with another Mistress. I like the unity idea. We do it often and male subs like it because they say it helps them submit more when there's more Mistresses. That's why we have several Mistresses at the Academy. Some subs like picking from the list we have and some guys like the idea of being picked by the Mistress.

I've co-topped with both male and female tops. Actually, while MP was home during his leave, we did our first scene together. He was thrilled with it. The girl we played with was pretty happy with the result, too. I can't say I've ever had an issue when topping with another female, even when I haven't known her that well. At minimum, I have to at least know her skills as a top and she has to have a decent reputation. I generally don't offer up My sub's ass for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Even when I teach, I tell people they have to bring their own bottom, but that's another subject. I get invited to co-top more often than I invite others in. Most times, it's from other Tops who don't play quite as hard as I do and they want to give that experience to their bottom.
