Nerve tissue.


The actual mass of nerve tissue in the brain is a relatively small fraction of the organ's weight. I recall that from a neurology course back in the 60, but I'm not sure what the rest of it is. Some kind of connective tissue I believe.

Actually, it was a required course for the pre-vet program in which I earned my first degree. Now, as far as interest goes, I had the most for in BacT and advanced BacT. I just loved culturing those little devils.
