Can anyone recommened a good website that deals with teaching Spanish to complete beginners, prefereably a free site for obvious reasons, or a site which is partly free ?

I don't know if this will help or not, but I found a site that teaches you spanish for free. You have to give your name and email, but before you do, you can try the first lesson and see for yourself if it'll serve your purpose. http://www.learnspanishtoday.com/

Rosetta Stone is supposed to be the easiest program that'll teach you any language. I know a few people who've learned languages with Rosetta Stone, and liked it, thought it was worth the money. But it does cost. :)
