    Implementation of the EPA proposed carbon rules and carbon taxes equal job losses for the coal miners in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, for the people building generators in Ohio...and on and on...We also will see a short-fall in energy to meet demands when this economy does start to come out of recession...whether it takes a year..or three years. As far as the government being happy to subsidize car companies with their protectionist practices..I think you misunderstood what I said...the government is DESTROYING the car companies with mandates on mpg, carbon emissions, etc.  True they gave them money to fund the retooling of their assemply lines to assist in complying with the rules..but the rules are being created even faster than Pelosi can create money...or rather force Geithner to find someone to lend it to us.

     In normal world ...not a thing.  All of us are in favor of being more green, protect our lakes, rivers, air, and the oceans.  However, Green used as a politica weapon puts tremendous power inthe hands of a few in government.  Witness this proposed rule announcement from the EPA regarding carbon dioxide and the horrendous impact it will have on new generation plants being built in this country.  EPA rules also make it about impossible to get approval to build any new nuclear plants, while other countries are busily building them, and, I believe, France now gets well over 70% of all its electric power from "Nuclear"..and these idiots here are going to build windmills!.. How many people do you need to build a "windmill"..10,20, 50..??  Oh and by the way...lets see how successful we are in getting the huge "bearings" that each windmill requires to turn...only manufactured in Japan and Germany..who are now manufacturing them for the...guess who...yep..the Chinese!  We are going to have to stand in line behind the Chinese.

   That was exactly my point...not well made.  Germany was, and is today one fo the most advanced countries during the time of Hitler's rise to power...although suffering through the worldwide depression and the heavy load of paying WW1 reparations.
Hitler was able to influence the "intellectuals"...not very difficult as we see in this country...and within a couple of years the nazi part was not the majority but the most important party in Germany.  The little known secret I think is that is EXACTLY why Jews are so liberal and so far out in front in fighting for civil rights and against anything that in any way...not matter how far fetched,.. could bring a facist type government to the United States.  I never thought that was a real risk...until now.  I am ultra conservative fiscally...but a dictator of the right is as bad as a dictator of the left...and my concern is that Obama is planting the seeds for this to possibly happen.  Inconcievable...maybe...but people thought that in th 1930's and before they knew it the were on trains to between 1933 and 1945,to about 20,000 camps.  While at first the prisoners were mostly communists, socialists and gypsies...but eventually included numerous other from gays to Jehovah's Witnesses...and five million Jews.
 

6) It's Tsar not czar. Czar is a misspelling of car, damn American's ruining our English Russian!
