Status: offline 		We've seen a good few threads about 'extreme' things that are turn-ons - 'edge-play', borderline intolerable.  Cuckolding - would you, wouldn't you?  Blood-letting, severe brutality of all kinds . . . .  Great fun and I'm not knocking it.

However, that's one extreme - the other extreme is that of something that's so mild that it's barely noticeable.  So I was thinking, recently, about things that I've seen, heard or felt, that are small and subtle - yet have turned me on out of all proportion to the event.  A certain look, a certain word said; a little order given in a particular tone . . .  (Ok - that's a sub's view - or my sub's view - I'd love to hear from the dominants too.)

One polite request: please can we get past the tiny, tiny penis quips as swiftly as possible?  Thank you in advance.

The authentic, vulnerable moment when a sub's breath turns into a whimper. It's not a *whimper* per se, but when he breathes, it almost comes out that way.  For a good example, look at what Elijah Wood does almost the entire time through the Lord of the Rings movies, which I watched entirely for the desperate look on his face and that precise sound.

Also, when I do this to a good man, I love to see the arch of a naked back combined with an almost imperceptible tilt of an ass trying not to be greedy.  It's a gorgeous amalgam of his desiring to be obedient, yet being on the physical edge of endurance coupled with frantic arousal.  Heady!

Also, I have pointed this video out before...but things like the subtle, subtle "blink-wince-shiver" I call it that the lovely Jared P does at :07 seconds in this Supernatural clip.  Ah yes, one of the shows I watch - well, I fast foward on DVR - for the potential bondage scenes. These are the points that I would have said: a look (eyes looking down in particular), choice of words, tone. One other point I will add is body language. I appreciate the image of a woman seated back comfortably, legs crossed, with an air of confidence.

That link to a video you posted some months ago . . .  a Russian one,  man cuffs himself to a chain hanging from the ceiling, woman starts to whip him . . .

Status: offline 		You've posted quite a few anecdotes in passing that have been little gems for me, Sea.  I recall ones about certain words spoken in a certain way and in certain contexts . . .

I remember once sitting on a train, eyeing up a woman and getting a lovely little buzz with the fantasy of her telling me to take her bag down from the luggage rack.  Not in a barking voice - just saying it as though that was "what I was there for". 

Maybe I should have just gone over and asked her to order me

It's my perspective I guess...   I feel decidedly not hard core enough as a domme because I can't/don't do whips really...   So I consider everything else amauteurish, and mostly soft and loving. .
