Master and I used to use a chat room where some of the Doms used to get their panties in a wad over screen names. One day for a laugh Master changed his nick to SirLordMasterUberDom!  It was hysterical watching the other Doms leave the room and come back with nicks that they though could outstrip his. They just didn't get that the nick did not mean anything and it was what they were saying that mattered.

I can't stand the slut, master, slave, whoopee cushion, whatever 'for you' or 4 you or 4 U thing...text speak in any realm generally shits me to tears...

Status: offline 		I tend to not like names that are overtly sexual or one dimensional.  If you've got a foot fetish, for example, great, but I'll bet it isn't the only thing you are as a person.

For those who don't like the title in the name, no offense, but suck it up.  Believe it or not, some of us came by our names because it's what other people named us in the community.  I happen to be proud of Mine.  It's not the first one I've had, but it's probably the one I'll keep.  Besides, how many "Lady Pact's" could possibly be out there?

Status: offline 		mine simply came about because its Master's trade mark. Every time we got to a party or club, i wear a chain around my waist, padlocked. Chain will appear somewhere in any nic i use and is also in my email, along with my real name.

Sometimes, I discern people by the level of creativity they have shown with screen names that do not get rejected. No mean feat in this world of the online, trying to find a description that fits and has  not already been claimed.

To others that have some pretty sad descriptions, I just wonder maybe they were sifting around the bottom ends of the barrel, descriptions that fit with the abhorrent in our society, I pity the thought that makes some think it fits them.

The other thought of course, is use a name so creative, that name when in google is searched, points to only the locations that name has been used. With a photograph attached to a profile, the name can be watched over the net by those so interested. In that case I hope the name holder is comfortable with their ramblings.

I would be kind, and responded to his email that I was put off by his screen name and profile pic...his response was something along
the lines of yeah, he hears that alot...but yet he has changed nothing and continues to troll this and all the other
kink sites...now I just ignore any communication from screen names that I don't like.

Status: offline 		I don't think I judge too much by the screen name, though I hate it when I have to decipher them.  Most of the time, I figure people have their reasons, and try to get to know the human being behind the silly screen name.  I've gotten to know some interesting people whose names went along the lines of "Superslut4U" and "UberDom2SpankU" and actually liked them.  A few of the ones with "regular" screen names end up being trolls and freaks.  I think it goes along the lines of not judging the book, and all that.

I picked mine without really realizing what slave meant to most people, and have kept it because I don't really give a shit what people think.  My Lord doesn't object, and since he's the only one I seek to please, and I am his, then being Storm's Slave is perfect for us.  When I asked if he thought I should change it to not be confusing to the others on the site, his response was, "Fuck em."  shrug.

Status: offline 		I usually enjoy seeing different nicknames and trying to figure out why they chose that one. I tend to amuse myself and make up stories to go with the nicks. I do have to admit to being a "naive" when it comes to names, my friend Brad used BIMJustLooking, now to anyone else that means Bi Male Just Looking right? welll me being who i am didn't see the "BI Male" part but made it one word and turned it into Bim (like Madame Mim from the sword in the stone but with a B).

My nick is kind of a mish mash. kurious i got from an erotic story i read centered around a woman's first D/s experience online (fit me to a T) and i tend to ask lots of questions and i like to learn. switch was because kurious was already taken, but also because i wasn't sure where i fit yet into the scheme of things and so wanted some lee way. but it can also be read as kurious witch which fits as well cause i tend to gravitate towards other forms of religion.

but most just call me kuri, it fits and is cute and much easier to type lol
