Status: offline 		Does anyone else feel like a yo-yo- in this lifestyle. I consider myself a "player" lol. I'm a sexual submissive and I enjoy it very much. But sometimes I find my self really into the lifestyle and other times I could care less about it. I'm not sure if it's because I just haven't met any really cool Dominate men? Anyones else go through this yo-yoing?

Status: offline 		Yep. Like pretty much everything else, I have periods where I get sick of the whole shebang and need some time away. It's not a bad thing, I just need my space. (Sounds like I'm breaking up with BDSM, doesn't it?)

Did I believe her theory about Loki and Ragnarok? Of course not! Oh, I had no objection to calling Armageddon by the name 'Ragnarok'. Status: offline 		Life's complex, shifting, multiple levels all working at the same time in different ways with eachother.

Hopefully in time you will find a balance/pattern that works for you most of the time.

I go through periods where I cross stitch constantly. And then I go years without doing any of it. I'm ok with that.

this slave considers herself the owned property of Master, which includes sexual submission, but is not limited to that. this slave does not consider herself a "player", but an owned slave and this slave is really into, completely into, being Master's slave, all the time.

Status: offline 		I think that the desire goes up and down with just about everyone. Just as I believe sexual desire or desire for just about anything goes up and down.

I think at some times we just plain don't -want- to be useful. We don't -want- to do what we're supposed to do. Does this change what we do? Nah. Heck, I think we all go through times when we don't want to go to work, or don't want to parent, or want to just avoid the responsibilities we have to other people our pets, etc. I think that our BDSM commitments fall in the same type of cycles.

I truly think that everyone goes through phases of not wanting -all- the control that goes with belonging to someone. Sometimes we just want to be able to take off with friends without asking first, or go get fast food and go to a movie, or have some me-time without asking if s/he needs anything. That said, I don't think that for many of us this changes how we act. Sure, we might feel this way, but I'd bet 90% the time we go and ask anyway, or tell the owners that we're feeling really out of it, and would it be alright if we have time to ourselves.

With me, my biggest problem is sexual desire. My birth control makes is such that I have about zero libido. It's really hard for me to respond instantly and excitedly to sexual overatures, because I just don't have a sex drive anymore. It goes up and down but is mostly down. Still don't change how I -act-. I yo yo, but I'm almost always able to give myself a mental shake and respond in a way that makes him happy.

So, yeah, I think just about all of us yo yo, if only for a little while, but I think that many/most of us ignore it and keep up with our obligations. I think everyone's cycles have different periods, but I do think we all go through them in one form or another.

And yes, for me sometimes the desire is very intense and other times much less intense, but its always there.
But then, i havent met any real cool Dominant Men either!
