AAkasha -> question for Yahoo IM experts (2/24/2009 10:04:52 AM)
Is there a way to save conversations, so when you log off, and log back on the next day (for example) the previous conversation is still there so you can pick up where you left off? That is - without saving it as a text file or saved file, it's just a continued conversation you can scroll up through?
Thanks, Akasha

There is a way to save them through IM by selecting the option to automatically archive them... then when you want to read them you can select archives... also it will prompt you at the top of the IM box "see most recent conversation" if it hasn't been too long.

Click on the "Messenger" pull down at the top of the main window. Then click Preferences. Then select Archive.....from there is should be obvious what you want to do. After that.....to see the most recent chat with a given contact member open a chat window with that user and hit F3 that will bring the most recent chat into the window to scroll up thru. Other wise you can also click the "Contacts" pull down, and then click on Archive and review all chats for any contacts you have chatted with since enabling Archive.
