Every now and then I'll find that I can't edit one of my posts that I made (such as post # 125 in the 'my fellow citizens scare me' thread) and I can't figure out why. Usually when it happens... it happens for the entire thread. D:

I can't discern a reason for this to happen. Anyone have any input?


EDIT: Basically the edit button isn't there, I see that whole field like I see it for every other poster.

I think you can only edit a post for a certain period after posting it or until some responds to it.

Time period is correct. Last I noticed the timing, you could edit your posts for a period of one hour from the timestamp of the original posting (regardless of whether or not someone has responded). When the allowed time period for editing expires, the "edit" link becomes unavailable and any edit-in-progress at that time will not be accepted when submitted.
