Rainfire -> Anniversary - ideas or thoughts? (2/25/2009 6:30:55 AM)

Ok, so tomorrow will be the first (of many) anniversary of Lumus and I meeting on CM. Yes, we remember the date, we're just that way. I can say what the date was for everything from us meeting to our wedding date. Well, duh on that last one! [8|]

So, what would be some ideas to surprise him with, besides a card and "i love You"? Would you celebrate something like this or just let it pass quietly? I mean, after all, this is only the anniversary of the day we started yakking back and forth in P&RS but it's been such a life-changing event for both of us that I was thinking of doing a little something.

Any ideas or thoughts?

- surprise him with a gift of something he really wants but hadn't got yet (within budget)
- treat him to a romantic dinner at favorite restaurant and then a long sensual massage at home after
- fulfill one of his fantasies (if you haven't done them all yet)
- buy him flowers

I didn't think that they allowed bear hunting in Canada. Rain redo your first CM meeting.

*snickers*

That was me mouthing off here in P&RS. I was new and posting on the "game threads" like TPBM and "The Person Above"....  We started bantering back and forth and discovered we had a lot in common.

(See what a little conversation can lead to? Next time I'll just stick with the sex...)  [:D]

[sm=rofl.gif]  Good one!!!! I'm looking for one already for the 6th of March when we're supposed to go watch the new "Watchmen" movie. Life does take a turn when there's um's in the house....

Wanna volunteer?

Chips, dip, something to drink, and print out every email, and put together with any snail mail, and sit together and read them all together going back as far as you can, and chronologically.  Wrap them in a nice little bundle with a bow and ribbon.

I just looked at your profile to see what orientation you both are, Rain. From my perspective as a dominant, I would love to be awoken in that 'special' way on the morning itself with my submissive partner making an extra special effort with my bathing, dressing and breakfast routines, only to come home from my day to open the door to find a pathway created (could be candles, could be rose petals, etc...) leading to a room where I'd find him waiting, hands outstretched to present to me something he had personally written signifying our anniversary, what makes it so special for him and what life changing events there have been. You could have him a delicious meal awaiting him, but then, you won't know what he has planned either for that day...  I'm also a big fan of post-it notes, lots of em giving little clues and leading up to the piece-de-resistance.

Great idea MM. Use the post it notes as a scavager hunt. At the end of it he will find you. Send me the notes first to see if it works.

Hmmmm, maybe i'll start with a little note of love and appreciation in His work lunch. i sometimes do that, haven't done it in a bit. There is a munchkin in the house so it has to be discreet.

MM, great ideas, and I love the fact that you took the time to check my profile, that is very thoughtful. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Hmmmm, flowers - wonder if I can pick some up. And a vase. Need a vase - don't have any since moving here. Ooooooo, shopping! [:D]

You're more than welcome, Rain. Whatever you do, it'll have your special uniqueness applied and that will make it even more appealing to the man himself as your personality will play a huge part in what you decide to do. I personally love love LOVE anything that a person has taken the time to make for me, especially if it's something handwritten and even more so, if they've taken the time to create the card themselves (I also do this for special people in my life rather than buy one) and there are so many ways in which you can decorate simple white card, dried flowers are a good starting point, but I'm also a lover of cutting a window then glueing a clear piece of plastic underneath and then using (from a craft shop) leading and acrylics to give it a 'stained glass' effect.

Hey rain,
I think taking your first interaction, screen printing it or crocheting or painting or making a piece of art with it for him.  That would be kind of sweet.

and happy anniversary!
