I have a concern.  My brother is coming to visit from out of state. This is a last minute trip. He will be staying with me for a weekend.

A few months back, he made the shocking comment, that he can beleive he has an STD.  I urged him to get treated.  He did not.

What can I do so I dont catch this disease? I am not happy for him to be visiting and wish he cancels. So use separate towel, soap, sheets; is this enough?  I cant tell anyone about this problem. I hope you can help. Thanks.

Ummm read a pamphlet so that you realize that you can't catch STDs from sheets (even though you should never share towels just because that's kind of icky). Maybe slip him some antibiotics? I'm lucky to have never had any type of STI, but from my friend who has had chlamydia, they said it wasn't a huge deal, they just took penicillin for like, a week.

Well, you CAN catch crabs from sheets...

I'm assuming Chlamydia is what he told you he has?

'cause unless you're getting freaky without a condom with your brother, you should be fine.

If I knew someone had an easily curable STD and was not seeking treatment, that person would not be allowed to visit on the basis that he/she is a moron and a jackass. Tell him to stay home and spend the money he would have spent on the trip on getting himself clean.

Don't have sex with him.
