A little about my costume in the picture.. Just for giggles..
As I mentioned, I'm a Photographer, and I wanted to be able to photograph Diabolique.. The first year I tried to do so, they told me that they were full up for photographers, but if I'd be willing to volunteer at the event in some other way I'd get my foot in the door for the following year. So I did. I worked collecting at the front door.
Now the thing is, I admit I was a bit naive, and I didn't realize that even volunteers were required to be dressed for the event. As far as fetish dress/gear..I had nuttin..And I showed up just after my day job. Poor form, despite my good intentions. So, I had to improvise. After discussing with the person running the event, we came up with a simple but not so elegant resolution..Off came my pants, and I was wrapped like a mummy in saran wrap.
Well, for the most part, everything from there seemed to go smoothly.. But at the end of the night, I was also told, "Next time, you'll have to be prepared, because as it is, some people complained you were underdressed."
OK.. A Year goes by. Now I am a guy that is 270 lbs. 5'11. and I basically look perpetually 9 months pregnant but is other wise propotional for the rest of my body.. And I decide..fine..they want to complain I'm not fetishy enough..I'll see if I can't make them wish I wasn't as fetishy this year.. So I go on the hunt for a leather thong. After shopping around, I realized finding something in my size that wasn't too expensive was out. So I settled upon the Latex Nun Suit.. And in the spirit of fun, Passional (where I got the suit) offered me a pair of free Passional sheer panties if I proudly displayed them while walking around. Since I was going for "wrongness"..I said "ABSOLUTELY!".
I got a good giggle when I showed up, and the doorman (who was overtly gay, and was actually wearing the leather thong I'd hoped to acquire) took one look at me and said, "That is wrong!" I smiled evilly and said, "I know!"
However, much to my surprised, many of the ladies came up to see me that night. And one of them at a later event asked me why I didn't dress up more often.. Well, truthfully its because I wasn't really ready for that on an on-going basis.. But I am now hoping to expand my horizons, and will be picking stuff up over the next year to properly fit either Dom or Sub moods... And un future events, instead of rebelling against my surroundings, I will be all too happy to join in on the fun..
