Love him or hate him, most Americans will all recall the distinctive voice of Paul Harvey on the radio. RIP Mr. Harvey.

Paul Harvey could give more information and insight in his five minute "show" in his later years,...than most of the cable media gives in a day of programmed programming.  His voice will be missed.

Damn, that sucks.  I can't imagine why someone would dislike that familiar old voice on the radio.  90 years ain't a bad run though.  Good Day, Paul Harvey.

I always enjoyed Paul Harvey....especially when he would do a list of accomplishments of some odd nature to describe someone and at the end it would turn out to be someone everyone would know but, had no idea of the accomplishments. He was a broadcasting icon with such a distinctive voice, he will be missed!

I can recall coming home at lunch time from grade school...and my dad who worked nights then....every day...would have him on the radio. Here was a man who espoused and stood up for a set of principles......but did so without venom, extreme words, putting down others or trying to inflate himself to bigger than life. I cannot imagine anyone hating this man, no matter what your position was relative to his on any issue.

He is part of what truly was the "greatest generation".....and  more and more of these people are leaving us every day.

Godspeed Paul Harvey. ...Good day...

I can still hear his distinctive voice in my mind. It is very much associated with my early childhood. I remember not agreeing with his politics as I got older, but I still could not help but stop and listen whenever I heard his voice on the radio.

No kidding on the old part. I was trying to recall early times when I heard Paul Harvey on the radio and to the best of my recollection, it was on Saturday mornings on the way to clarinet lessons, when I was around 8 years old. That wouldn't sound so bad but the years would have been 1963...argh....that makes a body feel old.

Not a good time for our Chicago figures in broadcasting.

Oh wow! How sad. Listening to him was a regular part of my day growing up. Listened to him with my dad, who's been gone a number of years now. He will be much missed.

Good day to you Paul Harvey.

The local AM station would broadcast his program while we rode the bus to school and the drivers would play it.  He was quite a character and definately made his mark on American radio.  Rest in peace, Mr. Harvey.  You touched the minds and hearts of millions and you will be missed.
