Where to begin?
I am new to both the lifestyle and to CM, but have known I was a Dom since I was a kid. Someone recently asked if I had always known I was a Dom and I told them "Oh no, not at all, I didn't figure it out until I was 8 or 9." It is just recently that I have come to accept it is not just something I want to do, but it is who I am. I went through a long struggle in vanilla relationships, suppressing my desires, feeling embarrassed, and even trying to "fix" myself in therapy. All to no avail.
I lived for a long time on the other side of the tracks, so to speak, subbing to some remarkable FemDoms, which has really provided a wealth of insight and information for me as I now move forward in my journey as a Top/Dom and explore the things that make me really feel like a whole person.
While in Tokyo, I took some classes and discovered/re-discovered my passion for rope, so that is something I will be exploring more and more. Also going to Shibaricon in Chicago in May (if anyone else is going, send me a note!)
Now that I have taken that first step, I am really opening up and I am eager to learn just about everything from just about everyone. It is exciting and at times overwhelming. Doing my best not to rush in too fast, but to take my time and enjoy the journey.
