I have been communicating with a Mistress I met on here, as there is some physical distance between us and she has never attempted an online relationship, she gave me the task to ask others on here how and if it can work. We are going to meet later this spring, but she wants to begin my training before hand. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to how this can be done, or if it can be done. Why do I always get the [8\|] when I hear a sub say that his dominant asked him for directions on how to dominate him? Patrickbon, there is a search function at the top right hand corner of the page, if you enter "online relationships" or "online training" you will get the links for other threads that have talked about this kind of thing. While I don't find online stuff especially satisfying, it can be fun. Enjoy getting to know each other.

By the way...as an adjunct...I should add...I get the whole "I wish things could be a certain way" gig. Others (herein) have helped me recently see that.... (It ain't so).

It can work, as long as you're both committed and serious about it. E-mail, chat programs and skype can all be useful but what you use them for is entirely up to the two of you. ~~FR~~ patrick, you and I have corresponded in the past on the other side and I have always found you to be a very polite and intelligent person. I know you will do well, and take instruction from your chosen Domme. Now, that all being said..... I have never found any type of satisfaction with online, or long-distance situations at all. However, I do know others that have found rewarding relationships this way. I suggest that your new Domme find her own ways to dominate you and not have you topping from the bottom. I want to thank everyone for their replies,,,,,,,,,, i should have said, She is not my Mistress at the moment, but was considering me as i am having trouble meeting a Mistress in my area. She has a sub at this time that she is very pleased with, but since we are friends and have communicated in the past she was trying to help me out

Online play can be fun for awhile depending on what methods you use. In my experience, the thrill doesn't last very long though because there's only so much you can experience by basically "doing it yourself". I'm all about touch, expressions, sounds. I can't get all of that online. I can't grab a handful of hair, yank his head back and force him to look me in the eyes via cam or phone. To the OP, I think its pretty lazy of this person who already has a sub to ask you to come online and find ways for her to dominate you. If she has to do that, she shouldn't be training you. There are too many resources available for her to do her own research.
