ORIGINAL: Rainfire [>:] Yer not helping my nerves, Lucy.... The stress of immigration is taking a toll on me as it is and we just started. I'm thinking of starting a CM Immigration Support thread since between Greedy and Pirate, myself and Lumus, and Bear with his new man, we have plenty of people in the process or just starting immigration procedures. [&:] LoL...depending on ET's summer and mine we might join that club then [;)] I personally absolutely love Canada...have been there twice last year, but twice was not the right match for me to submit. I love the snow and even when germany has less snow then canada we also have once in a while a strong winter and I absolutely loved it to be knee deep in the snow in germany e.g. in 2002. That being said, it still has to make sense on a personal level and to relocate also the partner has to meet certain criterias, as otherwise is no point to submit and to try to make it work. I am not a person with "if's" anymore as for that I relocated too often in the last 5 years, so I think my "if's" I lost somewhere in the oceans during my flights when I moved to Ireland and to england in the past. For me it is clear that I will relocate...one way or another. I am not from UK and have no interest of staying here for a big variety of reasons. To go back home to germany is pointless once I have my degree from here, as the job I am studying is the lowest paid graduate job in germany and I would end up earning less then I did in my previous qualification from germany if I would find work in that graduate job due to paying off my student debts. Therefore for me it is clear that I will relocate...either on my own after my studies, or to a Master. With my studies I fit the skilled worker rules for australia and for new zealand, for Canada I don't know. But as I won't stay for anyone in UK for me is no point to date here and therefore I certainly would happily leave everything behind (well, except my cats) and start fresh all over again. I think to do it or not has a lot to do with the fact if you have much to loose where you are already. Now, I made the step to leave my country and my friends behind already years ago and to leave a country which isn't your home country anyway, is not very difficult (at least not for me)...therefore I do know that I will relocate in the upcoming years...one way or another [:)] At the moment Canada is not the question for me as for now my next curiousity will lead me to new zealand instead [:D]
