Floor sleeping...

Status: offline 		Last night, after some pretty intense mind playing, i felt the need to sleep on the floor next to Master's side of the bed. The scene had nothing to do with humiliation, but it was powerful enough to leave me reeling and even more submissive than usual... As i lay on the floor (ok so i did have a blanket and a pillow), after Sir had stroked my head, i was drifting off to sleep only to be rudely woken up by the bloomin central heating pipes making stupid clicking noises under the floorboards. Master asked me if i wanted to get into bed and sadly i had to say yes... i had to get some sleep as i have school runs etc

The thing is that i would have happily spent the whole night on the floor next to Him. This was not a punishment, but He didn't stop me from curling up on the floor as He saw my need. i suppose my question here is, how does floor sleeping feel to you (apart from hard and back achey in the morning lol!) and do you see it as comfort/priviledge/punishment/humiliation?

Status: offline 		Heh, I have issues with a previously broken pelvis, shins, legs... feet...

I'm sure the floor and I just wouldn't work out together, half the time my bed makes me stiff anyway.

I'm not sure he would ever want me to sleep on the floor in the first place... cuddle whoring has a huge place in our dynamic. :)

Hi Gabrielle,

Until instructed otherwise, the floor should be the default sleeping place for a slave. The floor is appropriate in my mind from a symbolic and psychological perspective, but it's really up to the whims of the Master or Mistress. In the bed or two floors down and caged for the night makes little difference in my opinion, so long as it's what the keeper desires.

i can see your point of view, but this was not an order.  Quite the contrary, it was an involuntary reaction to the scene Wwe had just done and felt perfectly natural.  He has never ordered me onto the floor to sleep however and i am sure it would feel entirely different had He done so...  For me, i cannot see that even if it had been an order, that it would be a hard limit though, but that is just me

i have no contributing medical issues like you do, but i would imagine a whole night spent on the hard floor would certainly make anyone stiff and sore...  Having said that, if the ums were not an issue, making a sleep deprived me someone you just don't wanna be around, then things may have been different!

Cuddle whoring is fantastic and i just love being used whenever and however He pleases (even if i am sometimes asleep to start with lol!) So, yes YUMMY!

Oh i totally agree with you, in my fantasy world this is how i would live.  But then, my back would not play up, my ums would look after themselves and take themselves off to school, my house would run itself etc etc *grins*

i must say that this morning when He got to work, Master texted me to say how much He had enjoyed having me on the floor beside His bed.  That was lovely, it gave me warm slave fuzzies!  Psychologically and not just physically lying on the floor was very lowering, but in a safe, warm, comforting way...  When i was asked to get into bed with Him, it was so that He could use me and that made me even happier lol!

Status: offline 		I slept on the floor for the last 5-6 years of my vanilla marriage, and certainly relished the humiliation and deprivation aspects .  This was not, however, a reciprocal agreement, and certainly contributed to the decay and eventual demise of our relationship .  It remains a strong fantasy element for me.

Status: offline 		In my last relationship, I slept in the bed with Her.  She mentioned something about a "living, breathing teddy bear".  lol.

I couldn't sleep in the floor anyway - too many joint problems.  I could be sent to the floor, but I wouldn't be doing a lot of sleeping there...

I would never punish myself by having beth sleep on the floor. It's too nice to wake up and touch her, use her, anytime I stir during the night, and feel inclined to do so. 

Now sometimes we both find ourselves waking up on the floor wrapped in a blanket, but that's another story or two.

Status: offline 		Master would never let me sleep on the floor.  He likes me to be next to him  we are big on cuddling also.  He also said i help keep him warm (only fair since he makes me hot  lol).  We like the share the big king size bed.

Status: offline 		i slept on the floor at the foot of my Dom's bed once (i don't know if he knew that i did it, though) but i was having one of those super submissive urges =p
i haven't done it again, though, since it's been winter and the floor is cold. but i do get the urge from time to time. especially after something anal-related.
he's never told me that i had to, i dunno if he'd even want me to. we're not full-blown M/s, though, so maybe that matters?
he's called me a little space heater before :) har har
cuddling is nice

i do like sitting on the floor next to him, though, i have to say

Status: offline 		Sleeping on the floor does have its psychological stimulation,  but when the morning comes, and movement is necessary....I lose that heightened stimulation, as my joints chastice my submissive actions.  I do prefer feeling a sore bottom the next day rather than achy joints.  One time I had to sleep in a bathtub....no blanket or pillow, naked.....it was a very long night and extremely cold.

Status: offline 		I'm smiling reading this, OP.  I totally get where you were mentally last night, and the submissive urgings which led you to wish to be on the floor next to him.  Lucky girl.  :)  Depending on where my head is, it can feel very comforting.  If I'm ordered to do so, it tinges on the humiliating, which ... is not a bad thing either.  lol

Status: offline 		In the context of humiliation...this is a super hot idea for me.  The reality however seems like it would be not so hot.  In the past, I've had the urge to just kiss a partner's feet without real provocation, because of the ooey gooey submissive-ish feelings they brought out.  I think the two probably come from the same place.

Status: offline 		I'm quite tall, so for years I slept on the floor as choice of comfort - it was simply more comfortable than having my legs hanging off the end of the bed. The last few years I had an extra long futon bed made, so I don't sleep there anymore, but still, sleeping on the floor doesn't bring out my sub side; it just brings back memories. 

On the good side, if I wind up with a master who wants me sleeping on the floor, it's easily doable.

Status: offline 		I'm quite happy sleeping on the floor. I actually prefer it to a bed. I only have a bed for other peoples benefit to be honest. But I would gladly sleep on the floor whilst my Top was in the bed.
