KMsAngel -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/17/2009 6:03:26 PM)

i'm thinking other peoples customs are fascinating.

was just reading a blog about a woman who took pictures in bosnia-herzegovnia; the subject was the death clothes of the elderly women.

these women have a trunk, bag, whatever of clothes of various kinds that they wish to be buried in.

i've never given thought to what i want to wear when i'm dead nor even why i would chose specific clothes.

when my gramma died my mom and aunt went out and bought her some racy undies to wear under her dressy suit.  they said if she was going to spend eternity laying next to grandpa, she'd better go prepared.   odd i suppose, but it brought them some peace.  i've decided i'll be buried in the same outfit i got for our wedding.  it's just something pretty.  i guess we all prepare for the inevitable in our own way.

i'm thinking it's time for me to roll off to bed, it's early but i'm beat.  hugs to anyone who needs one!  have a great weekend!

i'm thinking that each generation has trouble imagining their parents or grandparents having sex or giving/getting blow jobs (and many other activities the younger generation thinks they invented).

Maybe, just maybe, your grandmother (mother, aunt) gives good head even today! [sm=popcorn.gif]

DemonKia -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/19/2009 1:44:20 AM)

lol, fluffy . . .. . Absolutely . . ... .

& with that, I'm thinking I'm gonna go get some shut-eye . . . ..

Sweet dreams & days, folks . .. .

I'm thinking..and I feel this craving more n more n more often..to throw everything out of my wardrobe and completely revamp my style.[:)]
I'm gonna do it..when I get a permanent job...and move out

MissMorrigan -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/19/2009 4:52:36 AM)

I'm not going 'there' Fluffy, it's bad enough when unsuspecting family members discover that there are some things that should never be shared - such as the time when my folks went to stay with other family members... unbeknownst to them each room had an air vent - all vents are connected! One night they excused themselves, only for all the people congregated in the lounge for a nightcap to hear my mother declaring firmly, "Bend over, boy, arse in the air, you will show your Mistress some respect". It shattered a lot of illusions that night especially among the inlaws.

i'm thinking how peaceful it is today. The sun is shining, there's a cold snap to the air and yet, silence. It's heavenly. There's no heavy thump from the bass of people's music, no noisy cars/motorbikes going past, no tvs blaring. Only the sound of the cats' stirring/breathing can be heard. So utterly peaceful and a perfect day to recentre.

your LO will say that in 15 yrs when he sees his dad spanking his mum...

fluffypet61 -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/19/2009 8:49:19 AM)

i'm thinking that the songs in the 1920's were quite explicit sexually, if you know the code words.  Those Flappers were wild, open and out.  Those were your Greatgrandparents and Grandparents!

DemonKia -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/19/2009 3:20:34 PM)

I'm thinking about Bessie Smith & . . . lol . . . . It's all fluffy's fault, naughty girl . . . . . . lol

For those not in the 'know', some songs Bessie sang, back in the day:

You've Got To Give Me Some

Loving is the thing I crave
For your love I'll be your slave
You gotta give me some, yes give me some
Can't you hear me pleading, you gotta give me some

Said mister Jones to old butcher Pete,
I want a piece of your good old meat
You gotta give me some, oh give me some
I crave your round steak, you gotta give me some

Sweet as candy in a candy shop
Is just your sweet sweet lollypop
You gotta give me some, please give me some
I love all day suckers, you gotta give me some

To the milkman I heard Mary scream
Said she wanted a lots of cream
You gotta give me some, oh give me some
Catch it when you come sir, you gotta give me some

Hear my cryin' on my bended knees
If you wanna put my soul at ease
You gotta give me some, please give me some
Can't stand it any longer, you gotta give me some

Seeper called to Pele-Mele, sugar lump
Said I'm going crazy about your hump
You've got to give me some, please give me some
I can't wait eight days, you gotta give me some

Jaybird said to the peckerwood,
I like to peck like a pecker should
But give me some, yes give me some
I'm crazy about them worms, you've gotta give me some

&

Empty Bed Blues

I woke up this morning with a awful aching head
I woke up this morning with a awful aching head
My new man had left me, just a room and a empty bed

Bought me a coffee grinder that's the best one I could find
Bought me a coffee grinder that's the best one I could find
Oh he could grind my coffee, cause he had a brand new grind

He's a deep sea diver with a stroke that can't go wrong
He's a deep sea diver with a stroke that can't go wrong
He can stay at the bottom and his wind holds out so long

He knows how to thrill me and he thrills me night and day
Oh he knows how to thrill me, he thrills me night and day
He's got a new way of loving, almost takes my breath away

Lord he's got that sweet somethin' and I told my girlfriend Lou
He's got that sweet somethin' and I told my girlfriend Lou
From the way she's raving, she must have gone and tried it too

(Part 2:)

When my bed get empty make me feel awful mean and blue
When my bed get empty make me feel awful mean and blue
My springs are getting rusty, sleeping single like I do

Bought him a blanket, pillow for his head at night
Bought him a blanket, pillow for his head at night
Then I bought him a mattress so he could lay just right

He came home one evening with his beret way up high
He came home one evening with his beret way up high
What he had to give me, make me wring my hands and cry

He give me a lesson that I never had before
He give me a lesson that I never had before
When he got to teachin' me, from my elbow down was sore

He poured my first cabbage and he made it awful hot
He poured my first cabbage and he made it awful hot
When he put in the bacon, it overflowed the pot

Bessie Smith (July 9, 1892 or April 15th, 1894 — September 26, 1937)  was an American Blues singer.

Empty Bed Blues was recorded in 1928.

De nada, Miss fluffy . . . . . . Always happy to spread the subtle salaciousness . . . . . Hehehehe . . .

& I'm thinking I've always had a hard-on for women singing the blues in the first half of the 20th century . . .. . Ever listen to any Edith Piaf, fluffy?

I have been out of pocket for a few days and I am thinking I missed my friends here.

sunshinemiss -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/20/2009 6:37:23 AM)

I'm thinking that my legs and feet don't hurt for the first time in 4 days.  sigh.  it is so nice to not be in icky pain.

fluffypet61 -> RE: What are you thinking? (4/20/2009 8:30:10 AM)

i'm thinking that now that it is warmer and a gentle breeze is blowing, it is time to air dry laundry.  Except for the sheets and towels a simple folding drying rack will do.  i can stand it just inside the balcony door or on the balcony.  It will mean ironing some things, but that's ok.  Maybe i could even dry the sheets folded on a hanger - just take them off and refold on the hanger if they dry unevenly.
