I am thinking it is Friday night and here I am watching Secret Saturday's, Batman Brave and the Bold, and Star Wars the Clone Wars. Thank the Source of Power for Cartoon Network. Otherwise I would have nothing to do but post on CM all night! LOL!

i'm thinking that i found my textbook as an online ebook for $54 instead of the new print price of $111 and the used price of $83.  And the ebook is searchable, printable up to 10 pages at a time and copy/paste.

That's a lot of copy paste and print.

So I'll see y'all in the later afternoon / early evening portion of tomorrow, most like . ... .. Have tons of fun without me ......

Y'all are so sweet . . . . .

That's a lot of copy paste and print.

i won't need to print the whole book.  The copy/paste is easier to use than typing things from scratch or hand writing.  The class is a 4 week class and i am taking it Audit.  i won't need the book later - the subscription is 180 days.

Can you think of any reason i should buy the hardcopy instead?

I'm thinking that I wish I could just go lay down and sleep for 24 hours but I have too much frakkin' work to do....

And fluffy, I'm a book whore. There is no waste when it comes to buying books and a text book can make great reference material at a later date. I love having a good book in my hands.

Hehehehe, Dotar, I've curled up with books long enough to know they have their down-sides, too . . . . . .

I'm only gonna whine a tiny bit about how sore my poor lil arthritic hands get holding a book open for hours at a time -- after the ten-thousandth or so day of it . . .... . . But it's that adjustable font sizing thing that is staving off my need to deal with reading glasses & bifocals & so on . . . .

& e-books are such that you can curl up with 'em; I've curled up with laptops, & 'spect that I'll prolly curl up with my netbook, when I get it . . . .. Actually, lately I've been thinking I may not ever own a desktop comp again, just cuz I know I can take a laptop / netbook into bed with me . .. . . .

& if they can make vibrators that go in the bath tub, eventually they will figure out an e-book that's tub safe . .... . lol

That Darn Futuristic Demon . . ... . .

Netbooks could be a cool thing but I don't know enough about them to say. I will differ to your wisdom on that matter. I do like audio books. Especially on a long drive. It's better than music.

i'm using a netbook - the HP one.  SHH has the Acer netbook.  As far as i can tell they are the same except he has way more memory than i do.  i keep all my files on a USB flash drive.  Only my active programs do i load to the computer itself.  If i had his memory i wouldn't have to rotate my programs.  i keep my specialty programs saved to my flash...just load them to the computer when i need them.
The only other thing to deal with is the lack of CD/DVD drive.  You will have to get the online download rather than a disk for stuff.  So far i have not had too much trouble dealing with that.  A couple of times i went to the library to convert a CD to flash, then i was on my way.
