This question is directed towords pro dommes... Has the recession affected your buisness at all? Are there less people making appointments? Are your "usuals" not coming to see you as often? If so, have you done anything about it...like a discounted rate or perhaps same rate but more time? The bad economy has hit hard in soo many places I just wanted to see if it was affecting you too.

More people are asking me for 1/2 hour sessions than ever before. I just noticed that since the beginning of the year. At first I was against this, but I'm beginning to reconsider.

Wow, and I think that hour long sessions are too short. What could you possibly get done in a half hour?

In my personal experiecne it's affecting things a lot. Lots of guys email me and express interest. We message back and forth, talk about fantasies, limits, etc, even discuss actual dates for the session. Then they ask the magic question: what's your tribute? Then they never write back again. I realize that there are always time wasters out there who just want to talk to a domme, but I think the percentage of such messages I get is a bit too high to be "normal".

It hasn't affected me at all. In fact, in recent months, it's gone up.

I think it's a regional thing, if the area is doing well or has lots of travellers, business will stay good. I can't imagine reopening a studio here in metro Detroit!

Not at all. We thought it would but instead we've been getting more slaves applying to us than usual. And for slaves that don't have money we don't mind because there's lots of ways they can serve us without paying anything. We're not into femdom for financial reasons. We just like men serving and worshipping us.[;)] But we've also had an increase in women asking to take the free tutoring we offer so that might be from the recession.
