Do you have any idea how good those little things are? On a serious note, I think the issue is that they would not refund her money and were wanting her to take a product that she didn't want (A McDouble). I would not have called the police but I would have asked to speak to the manager, the general manager, and then written the franchise department about the policy which is counter to the "Have it your Way" mentality of McDonalds. If you read the actual story she was painted as an Ignorant Person, and she might have been, but it seems like they wanted to make someone who was upset about paying for something they didn't want because they were out of somthing. If you REALLY think about it the Lady was deceived, she asked for a product and even PAID FOR IT, and when she got the product what she ordered was NOT what she received and they didn't care. They should have informed her that they were out of what she ordered before they let her pay for it if they have a nu refund policy. Apparenly she didn't EAT the burger they did give her she just wanted Nuggets and they said Tough Shit. Having worked in the Fast Food Industry I would have refunded the money as it was McDonalds Fault this whole thing happened in the forst place. Think about the way an Order is placed and Paid for, McDonalds is in the wrong and she just wanted her money back, ignorant person or not, She deserved a refund.
