I don't know if this has been posted before, but I was curious as to how many people here play WoW. If you do play, post your character class, and realm you play on....who knows, maybe we can all meet up there and kill some stuff! Draenai Pally - Lightnings Blade (US PVP)

My name is Morrigan and I am an addict. Whew! I reached level 75 as a night elf bal druid on the Europe 'Agamaggon' server as Soph. I no longer play and deleted the aforementioned main as a result of just how addictive it was playing it. I woke up one day and went to log straight on to play it, I realised then how addicted to playing the game I had become - I deleted my character there and then and that was several months ago. I still get the odd pang to play and miss the excitement of fighting, furthering my professions (alchemy/herbs) and, of course, the cameraderie of the regulars I played with especially when hunting horde/raiding [:D] I do still have a lower level hunter but doubt I will ever want to play enough to reinstall the game and level it up.

yea, i am so addicted that i rerolled on a PVP server to play with my cousin. I did enjoy stomping three players that decided to attack me while i was questing by myself.

LOL Morrigan! I've known Jinx since he was still a kid, and we did some online RP together via AOHell chatrooms. We've met face to face in the past (after he became legal, thank you lol) - he's a dear young man, but I have to tease him about it..... (Yall can blame Jinxy for me being on CM in the first place - he's the one that convinced me to start an account here a few years ago.... )

Please explain how this 'game' works. There is obviously not a board. Is there such a game where players make up fake scenarios in real life with unknowing people on here? Or is that just known as a 'player' in general? LOL I have met so many ingenuine people on here compared to other sites, that I am wondering if this one is all just a game. LOL

Where's the fun if you can't tease a little, Peach? lol It was Reality that first got me interested in WoW, I watched him play once and said, "Honey, can't you find something more productive to do with your personal time, that game is way beyond you". I came to eat my words a couple of months later. After creating my main and levelling it up to 70, I started to mentor some of the lower levels in the guild of which I was a member. I loved the game, but really hadn't realised the extent I was playing it. The odd hour here and there became the hour every evening, the hour swiftly moved into two and three, and one day I looked over at Reality, whose pc is situated next to mine, and I loved out loud at the ridiculousness of it all. The game is very involved, even more so when there are certain 'dailies' to be done, not to mention the commitment to helping less experienced members. Damn, I miss that game! LOL Reality is no longer a player either, but several of our friends are so I live vicariously through their exploits - you can tell the addiction isn't fully conquered [;)]

Morrigan, what made you decide to go balance on yer druid? I have found hardly any leather gear until you hit end game. Right now, I am liking ret pally's I deal a ton of damage, and i am only 37.

Ooh, Luna, where to begin! firstly you have to decide whether you want to go the 'environment' or the 'pvp' routes. If you opt for the latter, it's far more realistic insofar as with the former you're just completing quests and fighting monsters, with the latter you'll be doing all of that AND fighting other players. As for the game itself, it is a massive role-playing game where you create a character, decide on a race and class and whether you wish to be an alliance (good) or horde (bad) member - you cannot be a member of both. Each character must choose a professional and there are professions that cater to your class. As characters become far more developed, they'll gain talents which then go towards defining the abilities of that character. The goal is to complete quests while furthering your profession and earning money for purchasing of equipment, etc... A lot of the quests are challenging and I have not seen another game on the market with the depth that WoW has. Here's the Wiki which will explain to a degree I am unable to: Wiki on WoW

Since they were respecced, Jinx, Palas and Death Knights are a force to be reckoned with and many feel they are over-powered. As for why I specced as a balance instead of resto or feral, I wanted to specialise in pure dps spellcasting, Jinx. There's no doubt that ferals are formidable, but I hadn't wanted to tank and the Moonkin/Treants suited my tastes more. I used to love attacking, then sitting back and watching my treants take out aggressively anything considered a danger. A lot of armoured gear you can get from pvp by earning points within your faction of either Scryers or Aldor, and of course, from fighting in battlegrounds against other players. Check out online what you can get... plus, nice items drop as a result of going on raids.

I would like to add, if you play on PvP (player vs. player) server, stay away from STV. I am currently questing there, and i get killed alot by the damn horde who are like 40 levels above me. nothing like just killing tigers, or collecting some stupid things and then getting 1 shotted by someone who is way above you in level and gear.

I no longer play, Jinx, but used to like Stranglethorn Vale, although agree that it's the pits when higher level horde camp it just to cause annoyance. The trick is to get a small group together that need to complete the same quests and go together, alternatively, get a much higher level to accompany you if they don't mind taking 30 mins or so out of their schedule to lend a hand.

I found that b/c horde are up half the night raiding, the best time to tackle STV would be early mornings. Is that your main and only character on WoW, Jinx? Were you ever tempted to create a Death Knight so that you could start with decent armour at a higher level? Welcome to the convo, DomRN. What level are you?

I have a couple higher levels on Zul-Jin which is a PvE server. my cousin wanted me to play with him, and so i started a pally there. he has helped me by boosting me through instances and such. I played a DK all the way to 80 on my older server, and got bored with it. I truely love the paladin class.

Do you think WoW will introduce more classes in the future and what did you make of WOTLK? I liked it, found it very harsh at times, but enjoyed the challenges, I deleted my main just one level away from gaining my flight form on WOTLK. I can see why the novelty with the DK would wear off. When WOTLK first hit us, it was bizarre working alongside horde to find our feet, as they were theirs, then it was back to killing one another again [:D]

well, when five DKs can run hellfire ramparts with no healer...and completely demolish the place, I find taht a bit OP. playing one is alot of fun...but i am finding the retadin to be harder to kill than a DK....fucking bubbles! I LOVE northrend, the scenery, the quests, the vehicles....it makes outland, and old world look bland.
