I fail to see any extreme action in that story. Now, if they'd beat the crap out of him, hung him over a door for a few hours, plugged him into a wall socket, yeah maybe.

But identifying him to police? Isn't that a civic duty?

For a Wal-Mart employee, that IS extreme action! :D :D :D

Wal-Mart has one of the highest internal-theft rates in the retail industry.  They also have one of the highest incidents of shop-lifting.  Both have been attributed to an overall feeling of disgruntledness among Wal-Mart employees.

Good times.

What extreme justice?  They pointed out the car the shoplifter was in.  Are you reading a different link from the one you posted????  Maybe I am missing the joke?

The only Wal-Mart-related death I've heard about were back during the Shopping Season when a couple of people were trampled in the doorway at opening.

Moooooooooooooo....

Well, that explains why they were mad at him. They were worried he wasn't leaving anything for them.

I don't see anything extreme in the link used. Employees doing their job. For once. Or is that what was extreme? Wal-Mart employees actually doing their job?
