This weekend we go on Daylight Savings time in the States...we have the possibility of 70fh  degrees on the east coast, and all thoughts turn from politics to "ice cream".  Well..maybe not all thoughts. But if we can find some common ground on any issue it might be the universal love for frozen desert.

I was just wondering if anyone has any particular ice cream/gelato/ices flavor or mixture that they just can't live withhout.  My personal favorite is Double Dark Chocolate ice cream, mixed with marshmallow sauce and devil food cake....unreal...soooo good.!

Haagen Daz Dulce de Leche, I thought I couldn't live without Ben & Jerry's Vanilla Caramel Fudge, but discovered I could when they discontinued it

Chocolate is one of the 5 food groups. Coffee flavored ice creams are great as are iced coffee drinks.  Italian sodas beat the heat without being too sweet.  And I am fond of lemon and lime popsicles in the summer time.

I rarely eat ice cream.  When I do, it's usually rocky road, praline pecan, strawberry, or one of my faves homemade blackberry ice cream.

It's been in the 70's here all week, and with the coming of Daylight Savings Time, my mind is not on ice cream.  It's on long days spent fishing with a cooler full of beer.

Hi Christine...regarding coffee ice cream...

You might try a "starbucks" or any place where you can by coffee syrup.  Mix a couple of ounces of syrup and a pint of vanilla ice cream and I think you would have a decent coffee ice cream.  Just add more syrup if it's not "coffe enought" tasting for ya...

I don't eat ice cream, And I try not to eat any sugary desserts either. No cake, no cookies, no doughnuts no pie,  no chocolates, no nothing.

Now every once in a while I fail and I do eat a piece of pie or something, but on average, I don't eat sugary sweets.

Lately I try not to eat any junk food either, and while I usually fail horribly on this, I have been doing very very good.

75 wonderful degrees today here in Atlanta. Man, was it nice outside. I like vanilla ice cream. Really good vanilla like Breyers with the bits of ground up vanilla beans. As an aside, it is called Daylight Saving Time (no second s).
