Why should the Nigerians have all the fun? Or the men? Can we declare a Sadie Hawkins day for subs and slaves?
Why don't we, ladies (I'd include gentlemen but the Mistresses seem to already have their hands full with emails from you) write to EVERY man in say 100 mile radius of us, be he taken or not with a one liner or just a "hi" or even (lucky you for having the time) READ their profiles and show them the sort of letters we would be mostly likely to read and to which we would most likely respond?
Why wait for them to find us, email us their best attempt, and then hope (on both sides) that the sub isn't too scared, burned out or jaded by the hundreds of emails she is digging through to still care when she gets to a good one. Why not pull a preemptive strike and email THEM for a change.
I am all for the "hi there" or "so what is your favorite kink?" but if we take this more seriously and SHOW what kind of letter will get our (individual) attention, maybe the D we are seeking will have a better idea how to reach us.
So it's a crazy idea but face it, what else do you have to do this evening other than fish the local pool and see what you hook?
